Take the emotion (ie dislike of Richmond) out of it, there is no way that should have been overturned. Umpire was actually in the best position and he called it a goal. Also, why was it so quick? I've seen relatively non consequential calls played back and forth for ages, to try and determine if it was a point or out of bounds, this one was done in seconds.

I think they should just attach some sort of laser sensor to the top of each post and they’d be able to tell instantly if the ball crossed the beam
