In the last 12 weeks (3 months) the best teams they've played were Geelong and GWS twice, with a win over GWS for a 1-2 record.
Since the start of the season it's been Geelong twice, GWS twice, Sydney and Port for a 1-5 record.
I've always been an advocate that you have to beat you play but seeing people here using that as a reason to label a team a contender is probably the biggest kneejerk reaction I've ever seen. Probably from the same people that were talking about our opportunity for a double chance a month ago.

If you want to throw reactionary opinions around that's fair enough but don't go all ad hominem when someone's being realistic. For Mass' sake I hope he develops and becomes less of a defensive liability against the better teams but claiming that he's something that he isn't and being so insistent about it just to use him as a way to pot the club is pretty sad ngl.
Players are cooked…been thinking this for a while…I’m not an expert or anything but does anyone else think they have pushed the average footballer’s body to the absolute limit in terms of fitness? Can they actually get any more fitter?
It will become like EPL in the 38 week season where they’re resting players during the year…trusting their “system” rather than the personnel…granted in EPL they have 2-3 other comps to play but maybe squeeze 15-18 elite games out of everyone instead of flogging them for 3-4 months of Preseason, 23 games and finals…would it reduce the number of injuries?

no one said hes no good, hes ok, like his stats suggest, not a superstar. The media have turned him into a superstar and all the sheep come out and follow. Duursma has similar disposal stats, but way better defensive and attacking numbers, dont hear the media calling for duursma to be aa.

free thinkers can check the stats for themself and see if they are "elite". He is doing ok, no ones arguing that, he lacks in the defensive and forward half of the ground, not a crime , but thats the facts
