So the Blues are not really much more advanced than us.

And they’ve got 6 a graders to our 1So the Blues are not really much more advanced than us.
Cripps, Curnow, McKay, Weitering and then who?And they’ve got 6 a graders to our 1
TDK. I rate him as second to Cripps in importance to the Blues.Cripps, Curnow, McKay, Weitering and then who?
Mate, anybody who has Weitering below #1 for the Blues is crazy. Their defence is bottom 6 level with him in, let alone without.TDK. I rate him as second to Cripps in importance to the Blues.
He was the single reason they beat us.
No one is going to remember that. The bluesers did score in more quarters than they didn't, so they finished out 2024 on a positive note at least
I willNo one is going to remember that.
Good for you.I will
And back Sheedy instead of looking for that ever elusive shiny new toy that will take us to the promised land?we need a time machine to go back to 2004, lol..
We backed him for 3 more seasons (or 2.5 depending on how view 2007), which was probably two too many...And back Sheedy instead of looking for that ever elusive shiny new toy that will take us to the promised land?
Then threw him away because Knights was a better option? Or was anyone not called Kevin Sheedy the better option? We backed him for 3 more seasons (or 2.5 depending on how view 2007), which was probably two too many...
No current season stats available
Knights was certainly not the option I would have gone with. It did seem at the time though that he was picked as a guy that could be 'sacrificed' while they worked out who they wanted next. Then threw him away because Knights was a better option? Or was anyone not called Kevin Sheedy the better option?
If he stays too long maybeI wonder if Geelong people will treat Chris Scott as shabbily as Essendon "people" treated Sheedy?
No way. Sheedy should have gone at the end of the prvious contract. He had run his race then and wasted our time with a line of average top up players between 2003 and 2005.And back Sheedy instead of looking for that ever elusive shiny new toy that will take us to the promised land?
Yeah, fair call.Mate, anybody who has Weitering below #1 for the Blues is crazy. Their defence is bottom 6 level with him in, let alone without.
Also TDK is not an A Grader. A Grade talent, yeah, but Darcy, Jackson, Briggs, Gawn, Xerri, Marshall and Grundy are all still ahead for me.
