The Hughes one was only confusing because dumb sh*t Basil either didn’t realise the soft call was a point or he misunderstood how the rule worked. Sitting at home watching the game I was certain it was going to remain a point after seeing the first replay.
To be completely honest I thought it deviated left as it brushed the post.

It should have been man in front for two of Marshall's marks. Umpires just give it to the player who finish up with it these days. Just not following the rules. Make up their own half the time

What I saw was a spoil by De Koning who then went on to mark it.

Also clearly should've been a mark to him earlier in the game instead of Marshall.

They've also been runner up. They finished on top at least three times although they did shit their pants in the finals twice. I reckon they've probably played twice as many finals as us.

Was shocked to read that even last year we handed over almost everything to WAFC.
