Wait.. I just noticed that St Kilda got beat by Gold Coast.

Dead coach bounce?

Now that we're officially cooked for the year I wouldn't mind seeing the Suns somehow sneak into the 8. There are so many teams I hate it's kinda of slim pickings in terms of who to barrack for now. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Port go all the way, particularly if it means denying the Colliflogs

I just don't think St Kilda have the players, Ross has done pretty well with what he has.

That would mean they have 2 before we get one though 😞

After watching a few minutes of the Carlton v Port game, I’m hating Carlton more for taking Motlop. It would’ve been nice having a small forward who kicks goals.

Geelong in Geelong is more intimidating then Collingwood at MCG.. which Fremantle have in two weeks.
Normally I'm not worried about Geelong anywhere. But they're doing the business on Essendon right now and we're cooked. Could be another big L coming up.

He's still only averaging the same amount of goals per game as Schultz this year though, and less than Freddy.

More than Switta admittedly, though there's probably midfielders who average more goals than Switta.

Lyon coached team returning to regular transmission. A gazillion hacked, bombed & otherwise unsuccessful forward entries for little return & he’s already laying into the players in the media.

Meanwhile crazy Vossy maybe not so crazy?

Loved watching GWS get up. They have some lovely players to watch. The new blonde kid in the forward half looks good & Taylor down back. Vintage Whitfield, Kelly & Toby. Even Hogan was ok but really doesn’t like kicking at goals.

GWS V GC should be epic next week.

Jeez,GWS right now would probably be capable of beating anyone right now!

There last quarter & a bit against Adelaide was something to behold IMO.That was straight up smash mouth,in your face finals intensity footy.

I can see why they pulverised us now!
they are my now that we can't team , So as Kelly would say Go the orange team.
We’ve had a year of playing teams just when they’ve come good it seems
Or we play them back into form by playing shit , I think more of the later , Let's face it in a lot of our losses we have been pretty average where most teams would have beaten us on the day.

True, but losing to the blues last week doesn’t feel quite so bad after watching them destroy a flag fancy in Port this week, they are definitely up and about, don’t think you can say we played them into form, just we got them while they are full of confidence.

We got the new coach bounce 2 weeks in a row with St Kilda and Roos. We get the top team at home on an 8 day break, we travel on 6 day break. Travelled to Adelaide on a 6 day break. We don’t get favourable fixturing we play both last years grand finalists twice, Brisbane twice, Bulldogs twice.

In what is a great example of fair fixturing, we play all four of last year's prelim finalists in a row. Three of them for the second time this season.

Yep and like i said, the other travelling off a 6 day break. Even last years grand finalist don’t get a run like that and we finished 6th!! You watch we will finish bottom 6 and still get a run like that next season albeit once.

Maybe finishing 15 th could be the best thing for an easier draw next year ?
Could be a clever ploy by the tacticians ?
