abbey holmes from what i've seen is pretty much exclusively a boundary rider unless i've forgotten something which is a different role to being play by play commentators

I know Dwayne Russell isn't eveyones cup of tea but at least it never feels like he's struggling for something to say.

Dunno, I actually prefer Kelly to Derwayne. At least she cares, Dwyane just runs through a list of his b grade catch phrases with the same excitement I approach vacuuming with.

She commentates on a few of the women's games. Her voice and general calling is far more palatable, but she won't be elevated to a calling level in the men's anytime soon anyway

Really? Cos I thought we all agreed that getting rid of him for the price we did with no direct replacement was an incredibly stupid list management decision.

I think a fair amount of that was a form of copium. Most were upset for the price we gave him away for. Personally I was a little sad but assumed either Johnson/Erasmus or Clark would've filled the spot instead of Hughes which has made it a harder pill to swallow.
