Glad we have Freo supporters like you over there, how many Freo games do you make it to?

Normally get to most, missing 1 if it clashes with something else. Quite enjoy being a Freo fan over here, as Dockeroo said, there are more Fremantle fans than you would think. We normally go with a group of say 10-12 which makes the banter with some of the Vic crowds a lot more fun.

In terms of Kayo and free sport, nobody is forced to pay for sport but I couldn't imagine being a sports lover and having to put up with whatever rubbish game ch7 show. WA and SA fans have it extremely lucky given all local games are on FTA, no idea how that arrangement is still in place.

Get a Firestick. They'd be some costs involved, but small. Plus you won't need Netflix etc, not that you would have a subscription to them, because movies also used to be free.

Firestick is good.
Correct. In our house we have no pay tv at all. Much more fun to be had outdoors than paying to sit in front of the goon box

We resisted getting pay TV until a few years back. Should have done it earlier in hindsight.

Rain, hail or shine our priority is to watch our two grandsons play Aussie Rules live and our granddaughter play netball live. After that go and watch the mighty South Fremantle Bulldogs live if they are playing in Fremantle.

After that we have the opportunity to watch AFL games live on Kayo if they are of interest. There is also the chance to watch replays or minis of some other games and sports. It's not for everyone however it suits us.

I fought it for a long time but in the end capitulated
Some games I just can’t get to watch during the season and some non Freo match up I really want to watch .
Or some weekends when it’s pissing rain and freezing cold I just want to watch football and eat pies
I get what you mean about cold weather. I've lived in Melbourne for over 10 years and miss Perth's balmy, but rain-filled winters.

It is an absolute pleasure to be able to watch whatever sport I want whenever I want, especially watching all games live in HD and then rewatching the best games whenever desired.

The Kayo product has improved dramatically over the years. Get the deal through the club and split 50/50 with a family member or friend, then you can get the entire year for $175.

Sure, they're owned by some people you may not like, I don't think they're great either, I've told everyone who had foxtel they were wasting their money, but not Kayo. Cannot praise it enough. Works flawlessly for me and incredible quality picture. It's the streaming service I use most.

I was comforting a restless newborn last night and found the live snooker to be a great watch whilst I got him down around midnight. Underrated having that much sport at your disposal.

Interested in peoples thoughts on who will be breakout players of the comp in 2025? With one caveat - you can only name non-Fremantle players.
For me the following 3 players are all guys I predict will move to a new level in 2025.

1. Tom DeKoning. For me this guy is an absolute gun. Questions remain over his fitness, but I saw him tearing opposition midfields to shreds on a few occasions last year. Possibly Carlton’s most important player after Cripps.

2. Max Holmes. Not a major stretch to pick him as he’s already a gun and arguably Geelongs best player already, apart from Cameron. I think he’s capable of moving the needle again and becoming as good as peak Clayton Oliver, circa 2021-2023, next season though. Has incredible running ability, is an excellent footballer and makes good decisions.

3. Going to go with Josh Weddle. He just has a the look of a serial AA winner about him. Plays flashy eye catching football, and does it well. Think he will develop into quite a unique weapon for the hawks in the coming years.

There's breakout and there’s breakout.
If it's media fapping all over you breakout, then yeah restrict your pick to a Carlton or Essendon player.
If it's make AA for the first time, or finish top 30 in the coaches award for the first time, harder to say. Bailley Humphrey probably for mine. I think Dan Curtin will be very good, maybe a year early for breakout
