It’s actually hilarious how they think if they get rid of Simmo they’ll suddenly be on track again. Shows how little they know about football.

Is Simmo the guy to get them out of this mess? Probably not and I’d be very surprised if he’s still their coach in 2025. But the issues run much deeper at that club. This is the result of years of terrible list management, recruiting and player development. This is not an easy overnight fix, this will takes years to reverse. To pin it all on Simmo is pure copium.

And besides, who are they gonna get anyway? They love to romanticise the idea of Dean Cox coming back to coach them, but you think he’s gonna leave his cushy assistant role at the best team in the league with no media scrutiny and go to that absolute mess of a club and take up what would probably be the most undesirable role in footy right now? Please…
