Bolton was outstanding when it mattered. Bont went missing when he was needed. Dogs don’t like the pressure and their quick handball game fell apart.
Schache kicked his goal because he was literally standing idle and everyone ignored him. Other than that he would barely be a QAFL level forward, and I am probably insulting a few QAFL forwards saying that. Slow, soft and brings less pressure to the contest than anyone else on the field.
Stef looked exhausted.
I thought Bont had been ordinary through most of the game but was really important in the last quarter. Then with like two goals between them, like five minutes left and the game on the line he was stationed up forward and didn't play midfield for the rest of the game. Mind boggling he wasn't on ball to finish out the game.
