there's a 4 pages and counting thread on the tigers board dedicated to the arc decision

i dont know if the tinfoil hat style posting by some over there is sincere or ironic but its highly entertaining
i have been told must of had money on the game.
Honestly Tigers had 4-5 in the square and tapped the ball to Joe.. Should of killed that
Although lets all bitch and moan.
I know most hate Fagan going we did well lost by 10 goals. We learn a mulligan although he not full of excuses
Dimma cries and carries on so much

We could play Robbo as the medisub I suppose but we would have to gamble on him coming in no earlier than 3/4 time.

I love Robbo and everything he has contributed to the club but realistically, he just doesn't have the leg speed or endurance to be a sub if needed early in the game.

Ah Chee , Answerth or Prior should be the sub.

EDIT: Special shout out to 3KZ

Or even Lester

I'd prefer Lester.

Sub needs to be experienced enough to come and and do whatever role. Young players sitting on the sideline with all that crowd and intensity would be too emotional and higher risk of coming on trying to hard. Breaking down structures, and causing problems.

The passage where the certain goal to the Dees ended up with Fox's smother was incredible pressure. Obviously not stoked to be playing the Dees again but well deserved by Sydney.

on the contrary I think any of those three are sufficiently experienced and if we lose a player are the perfect ones to come on and bring manic pressure, Ah Chee in particular is one of our best 1 %er players, who will leave it all out there

Rampe missed the ball but kept coming and running back to help. Great example, its not over until the goal is kicked.

If we were to just go silly at the team selection table and make a bunch of koo koo changes, who could we bring in on our current list? Madden? Lohman?

I'd get Sharp in and tell him his job is to make sure Langdon does not get a single possession.

Don't ask me whom to drop. Won't be popular but it may be Matho. Push Berry more inside with his running power and get Sharp to tag Langdon on wing.

Probably been mentioned before but we just CAN'T go in with that slow 3 talls bullshit against the Dees

Rayner in for Robbo.

Fort in for Oscar.

Drop Gardiner for Answerth and play MCStay in the backline and as second ruck as required.

Lyons bad luck but Matho and Dev are both a better option these days
I’m wondering if we should play without Fort…it really kept McStay and Daniher involved by having to ruck and get around the ground even if they were generally dominated. Those guys are way better at ground level than Big O/Fort and Fort is going to get smacked anyway.

If we let Gawn play like Nank, taking a clean possession in the middle and send it wherever he likes, we'll get destroyed quickly. We need Fort for this one.

McStay could play defense instead of Gardiner and letting us slot Rayner forward. Gives us much better balance.

It's interesting that Angus Brayshaw now plays through the midfield literally the game after he re-signed his contract, must've felt strongly about it. Reckon they looked better balanced when he was across half back/wing.

some analysis about how his recent midfield move made Demons better.

I think his numbers definitely look better through the midfield, but I reckon they've lost a bit of potency coming off half back.

Hunt is fine but he averages 14 disposals and isn't the same sort of kick. Salem has also struggled since he came back. I thought it was noticeable last night when they struggled with their D50 to F50 transition.

So who would we prefer to play in the Prelim when we get through Melbourne next week.
Geelong or Collingwood?
Taking the words from Fages, I think I’ll say, I don’t care!
I think we match up pretty well on both teams, maybe a little better on Collingwood?

If we can beat Melbourne then we’re capable of beating anyone

Nothing would be sweeter than beating Collingwood in a Grand Final... BUT it would be a nightmare to lose a GF to them.

Anyone. Any time. Anywhere.

Bigger and stronger isn't matching faster and more skillful at the moment. Not sure Geelong's Kardinia Park advantage during the season does them any favours when it comes to the business end of the season.
