Two pretty bad game management errors there late by Carlton.

1. When the Melbourne player hit the post and the Carlton player was already in the square to take the kick out. He kicked out straight away to the loose man and they had to bring it all the way back. If he'd waited 1 or 2 seconds for the umpire to signal, they would have got the same easy exit on the same side of the ground.

2. Acres not taking his 30 when he marked top of the square. You could imagine that costing them big time.

Lucky they got away with it in the end.

Petracca wasn't bad the year they won.

They should've won the last 2 weeks. The issue is they have no firepower in the forward line so rely on the chaos ball which looks fantastic when it comes off but results in a lot of scrambly points otherwise.
