2023- Collingwood 8-1 with a percentage of 129.7% - For- 822. Against- 634.

2022- Melbourne 9-0 with a percentage of 159.01% - For- 838. Against- 527.

Don't count your chickens too early Pies.

In 2022 we were 8-1 with a percentage of 151.75% - For 953. Against- 628.
Now we are 7-2 with a percentage of 126.6% - For 896. Against- 708.

Doesn't ring true to what we are seeing on the field, stats say we have regressed but the eye says we have improved.

If you have an irrational hatred of the Lions like one or two of those posters (esp. F.i.t.z.e.y), even the faintest of praise comes off as sycophancy.

If it's any consolation, this particular poster has a similar hatred of Collingwood it seems. So it's not just us

But playing above themselves imo. Mihocek keeps kicking them out of his backside every week. Once we start putting more work into them they lack firepower up forward imo.

Nothing worse than the Pies winning a flag, the flagellation from the media would be nauseating... I would genuinely rather any other club win it.

Over the years I've learnt to suffer when the teams I hated most won flags ,or the politicians I knew were imposters won office etc etc . but once it happens you just suck it up , the world moves on ,it's no big deal.

If we don't win it I don't care over much . I'll never watch it ,think about it or read about it.

Fairly one eyed I have to admit. Once it's over focus on other things.

To be fair it would seem that McRae has instilled a far better culture etc. When Eddie and Nafan were there they were a basket case.
Find it hard to resolve my hatred (all for various reasons in no order) for Collingwood, Richmond, Sydney, Carlton, Port, Geelong, Essendon and Norf.
Not far behind are the Bulldogs...

Oops that just leaves Dockers, WC, Crows, Suns, GWS, Saints and Dees. And Dees, GWS and WC are v.close to joining the Bulldogs - just because.

Unless of course the losing team was the Lions since then you would be able to enjoy the balanced, wise, logical and comforting support of your fellow Lions as we dealt maturely and stoicly with our opportunity to learn one more lesson and remind ourselves of the old mantra that one has to lose a Grand Final before you can win a Grand Final.

It was really a terrible thing to say by Robbo. I am sure that Harry has helped Carlton win so many more games than he allegedly lost.

Hipwoods pressure around the world ground has been elite for his size. Probably the best of any KPF. Just needs to add 2 goals a game and he'd be laughing.

Carlton's game plan is so weird. I cant see how with those two forwards you arent getting the ball forward to them as quickly as possible. Especially with a Saad and Docherty half back line you should have the ability to burst it forward well

Issue for them it’s what’s in between. It’s like having solid wooden bookends with no books, or the best listening ears with no brain to comprehend what is being said, or a Parma* with chips underneath it.
