Drew's a nice size and got great defensive sense too. It's a good mix.

Considering the absence of their forward line, I would have thought Port would be quite happy with that half of footy. Not sure Melbourne still possess that third quarter burst from the last couple of seasons that would bury the opposition. Soon find out I guess.

Be interesting over the next decade or so to see how the highly rated midfield kids end up being viewed eg. JHF, Ashcroft, N.Daicos, Rowell, Anderson, Serong, Rachele, Rozee, Butters, Walsh.... and L.Ashcroft

Rachele was never a mid, always a half forward.

Butters wasn't highly rated. Wasn't talked up at all.
