I’ve noticed for quite some time that Keays seems considerably less regarded on the Crows board than the Lions board.

Seems to be a favourite whipping boy of their board.

I’ve noticed for quite some time that Keays seems considerably less regarded on the Crows board than the Lions board.

I think that's a case of us lamenting what we think got away from us as oposed to the Crows fans seeing Keays playing every game and being reminded of his deficiencies on a regular basis.

Disliked Adelaide after a Fitzroy game many years ago, but Ben Keays has helped cure the wound.

Last week the way their supporters carried on after every umpire decision just re-opened it for me.

Dwayne Russell on SEN this week suggested the Suns should rebrand from the Gold Coast Suns to the Northern Suns.

Spread their home games between the Gold Coast, Darwin & Cairns. If North Qld or Darwin isn't going to get their own team, it's not the silliest idea.

The Gold Coast part isn't the issue with their branding.

The Suns, colours, logo, song, mascot, etc are all more of a problem.

Terrible idea. If I'm a Gold Coast person I'm wondering why the club's starting to separate themselves from me. If I'm in Darwin, it looks like an attempt to get my support without committing to the city.

I speak as someone who struggled to support a club that was named after my city while doing everything it could to avoid playing games in it. You have to commit to one or the other.

Big match next week - Blues v Suns at Docklands. If the Suns can win that one, they can go for four in row v Hawks at Carrara. Then they have what could be an interesting game at home to the Pies.

Don’t want to say it about a first year player but Humphrey is exactly who they needed.

It could have been rankine and you would rather retain him than trade him but they knocked the pick out of the park.

Love Huddo on commentary, he's the best on the commentary team right now at calling classic close finishes. Wish he'd call prime time and finals games instead of BT & Brayshaw, he's 10x better then both of them.

They were extremely lucky to get those results early. Basically they got teams at the right time.
