Another one of the plethora of small forward prospects in the deeper end of this years draft pool, Angove is light on his feet, quick and agile with the ability to produce moments of magic in the forward 50. His footy IQ is very good, allowing him to run patterns up to the wing and back into the forward 50 while staying involved in the play and finding the ball. He's rarely caught flat footed, and has the ability to gather the footy cleanly at pace.

Said missed out on Vic Metro selection this year due to a slowish start to the season, but his consistently strong performances through the middle and back end of the season has given him a shot at having his name read out come draft time. Playing midfield and forward, and thriving in both roles, he's been a consistent 20+ disposal gatherer and multiple goal kicker. Said is strong overhead for his size, with a nice side step in traffic and composure with ball in hand.

I love how you are uploading some more left field players.

I know they wont get the big views but the right person might see it and it could make a massive difference and put a bloke on the map.

Very good work. Even The Beatles had left field songs mixed with mega hits on their albums.

I'm going to throw in a bigger name today after getting lots of requests for Lalor.

The deeper prospects can be a little tough at times. There have been a couple of players in the last two weeks that I've started and then abandoned as I just dont think they're draftable. I've tried to do a couple of Nash King games, but his decision making and skill execution is so poor that I felt I'd be doing him a disservice posting the video.

Lots of requests recently for more vision of Sam Lalor. Given his injury restricted 2024 season we have to go back to 2023 when he was a bottom ager. Here we see him putting in a remarkably powerful game as an inside midfielder given he's a year younger than most of his opponents, bulldozing through stoppage or crunching in with tackling pressure. He found plenty of the footy, but was uncharacteristically a bit variable with his disposal.

Love the honesty. Too many players are bandied around as draft prospects due to their size and athletic ability, it is their skills, ball disposal and IQ that counts for more.

Lucca Grego is a deeper midfield option who's shown the versatility to turn in solid performances in multiple different roles this season. He's tough, hard working and uncompromising with his attack on the contest. He's constructive with ball in hand, willing to take on the game with run, able to make good decisions and hit targets by foot. When playing as a defender, his marking strength for his size allows him to match up on taller opponents.

Noober can I ask a favour, I am interested in Max knobel who has been delisted by Freo but cant find any of his WAFL vision. Could you please piece together a WAFL highlights clip of the kid?

Hi mate, there are a lot of other prospects and requests I need to get through so its unlikely I can do anything pre-draft. Best I can do is promise to get something out for him after the draft if he gets picked.

Have u released any rankings Noober?
My plan is to make a ranking video. I've been holding off waiting for my new PC as my current potato struggles with complex productions with multiple sources etc. PC arrives this week finally.

This is my first round(ish):

Tier 1 in any order:
Draper
Jagga
FOS
Levi

Tier 1.5 in any order:
Lalor
Lombard
Smillie

Tier 2 in any order:
Reid
Lindsay
Langford
Trainor
Hotton

Tier 3 in any order:
Kako
Hannaford
Travaglia
Allan
Tauru
Marshall

Bit of an obscure one but Harrison Doughton (Dandenong Stingrays #3) impressed me yesterday. Any chance of a video

And if can be bothered, Jordan Doherty (Dandenong Stingrays #22) was another who stepped up yesterday

Assuming the likes will come in hard and fast for Ollie Hannaford after his 6 goal haul for the Rebels yesterday too)
both have some chatter about possible rookie selections if you have time great man

Building up to creating a series of full season highlights video, and filling in some performances I'd missed in preparation for that.

----

Over the next few days we're going back to the start of the season to fill in a few performances that were missed. Here we see Harvey Langford, still sporting the long hair, playing more forward than mid and taking a number of impressive contested marks. If his lack of pace does impact his ability to play through the middle at AFL level he can always fall back on his ability to impact the game as a medium forward.
