Can anyone put a figure on what little round Relly Roberts or Big Rosco Tangle will be getting, would have to be upwards of $1000 a week surely. Also Lantjin coming back, That's a bit of a win for them, played a pretty handy grand final.

Having an uneducated guess i reckon if thats all they are on the saints would be very happy.
Whilst we are at it, lets throw figures around for all recruits at all clubs...
Club x offered person y $z a game, but they turned it down because they're on 'a' more per game at club 'b'

Forget my last post M4S, just been down the pub for a frotthy or 8 and there is a bit of a whisper doin the rounds that a couple of your main men may have also signed with Ouyen,so get to it and lodge those clearance papers...

$500-$800 flights and trip to lord Nelson a week, and they wouldn't be doing that round trip for a packet of twisties and a can of coke, you'd think it would be closer to a $2000 deal! Or is there still some deal about fellas from up north getting cheap flights??

I think everyone in the league is of the same view! These guys from NT are coming down with $ signs on their heads. Everyone is happy to see st. Arn having a go and getting some wins but fingers crossed it won't hurt them long term. Charlie Hallam leaving Birchip is a bigger loss to them than juddy from the eagles. Donald is shaping up ok with a few new and returning faces to club. Trainings have been hard but 'slightly' easier if cc can not make training. Probably the same at most clubs!

Give it a break Rocco, we can speculate all we want about the massive $$$ you blokes are paying out, only to come second least year! I personally would hate to see St Arnaud win it this year as their main players will just be fly in recruits that stay for 1-2 years max. Will more then likely mean jack all to them and probably put a promising young local out of a game that will then go onto leave the club and have a good career somewhere else. Short term maybe, long term its not viable and will come back to bit them in the behind.
I no your going to say so does Wedderburn, but to be honest we might have 1 true senior player a year come out of the juniors, which the club aims on keeping in a game even if at some stages they may not be up to it, compared to your 2,3 or even 4 which often get brushed aside.

More than just Barnesy, you will find 7 blokes who have happily travelled the Calder to the burn at least twice a week for at least 6 years, if they didnt like the place they wouldnt do it, not just good footballers all good blokes to have at the club and another reason why good blokes are attracted to the place.
Couldn't agree more Dogga, Barnes, Gash, DeAurgo, Rose, Polglase have all had fair stints behind the wheel, not to mention the locals that have moved down and keep coming back also. Great for the club.
How have all the training numbers been so far and where has everyone been training at?
Redbacks are getting between 18-21, with Monday nights in Bendigo and Wednesdays at Wedderburn.

So far wedderburn has lost the one, Birchip Hallam messer, st arn 6 or 7. Wyche has lost a couple with Brennan and turner ? Any others leaving the league?
Whos got practice matches lined up???
