The biggest mistake that any team can make, is to take their opponents lightly...irrespective of who they are

If this happens during the year, expect quite a few "upsets"

I think we might see a few upsets ROC. Donald won't be far off notching up a few wins either, even with all the players leaving.

I have no doubts this will be one of the more competitive years in recent history...however when i made my tips i was just comparing the two

IM going to say St Arnaud out of faith. I haven't seen Wedderburn in their Practice Matches, so i cant comment, i can only presume that they have improved, with the likes of Sam Barnes coming in... i know we have taken a reasonable step forward, and we can only hope it shows up this week

Donald v Boort @ Donald ?
Boort - once again, i can only really base my opinions on what i know, and at this stage, all i know is there are alot of Out transfers for donald, and not many ins. Boort on the otherhand, look to be finally starting to cover the 3 big losses...

Wyche-Narraport v Bye

Savs v Saints - Savs by 10 goals. Saints might take a few games to get going with apparently a lot of new recruits.

Boort v Donald - Magpies by 10+ goals. R. Rutley to kick 5 playing off HBF...

I presume LUCY_THE_DOG you are from Wyche. Have they got any recruits for the Praccy match?

Heard a whisper that Rick Allan has been on fire on the track. No doubt he would have improved after a year away, which is what he probably needed as he will come back a better player. Will he be in Feeny medal contention?

Yer Rickys coming along nicely. We might have a few new names and a few old play for us in the praccy, looks like our numbers are pretty good now. Dont know about the feeny havent seen him play for awhile, but he is as fit as any i know so might give it a shake.

I dont know about sta beating the savs. I would think that weedybong will cum out firing and should account for the saints.

Would think you are pretty right picking Boort. Not sure why everyone has gone off them just because a couple of bald short ****as have left the club. Would think Donald need to do abit more recruiting before they trouble Boort.

I think Donald will be a stronger side than people expect in round one. I've heard from a very good source that this is a tribute game to Nugget and several ex team mates will be having a run in the first match.

With most other leagues starting back later than NCFL i would imagine anoyone who has played with nugget over the last few years would not hesitate to come back and play in his tribute match! Hopefully it's a Donald All Star match that runs out and wins for Nugget.

There will be a minute's silence held before the Donald vs Boort game on Saturday, Also the premiership flag being unfurled. There are a couple of players playing on permit in this match for Donald. One will play CHF the other most likely CHB. Proven NCFL footballers as well. I am sure every Donald player will be doing everything they can to win for "Nug" (me included) and the match will be very emotion filled for all players.

Only kicked goals last year because he had a top midfield feeding him.

Is it true the only reason he is staying at Boort (although his brother's will play in Melbourne) is due to the fact the Melbourne club's won't pay a cent for him but Boort will.

Are Charlton planning to lodge all their clearance applications on Thursday night or what? Must be confident of getting clearances straight up. At this stage doesn't look like they have recruited anyone which is not entirely true.
