so we can expect all the boort cockys back on here once they win a few more games.......awsome cant wait to hear how good they are.... has troy ferrier been the gun recruit they talked him up to be, havnt heard of him tearing any games apart. is aidy parker one of these big names to come back in, or is he out for the season.

Troyka has been a consistent performer in every game so far this year. His speed and great skill have definitely been on show so far.
Aidy Parker is 1 of 2 interleague reps to come back in, Andrew Cooney the other.

Yes the comp is looking very even again after the first bout of rounds. As most have stated Wedderburn are by no means undefeatable and the likes of Wyche/St Arnaud running into a bit of form certainly makes things interesting.

How'd you see the weekends game ablett? Do i summise from your ladder that you think with those two guys back from injury the Magpies are a better side than the Redbacks?
And after a couple of wins you rate Wyche better than Birchip?

He has no idea, that's why. Wedderburn beat Boort, rather easily I'm led to believe but still has Boort on top of them at the end of the year. Got me stuffed because your only as good as your last game!

While I'm a big fan of Wyche this year I'm surprised that he has them so high on the ladder.

check the points hemroid the mighty demons are on the same points as birchip, and starnaud for that matter, and if wyche are the worst club going round that has been stated on here numerous times, then it could be suggested that early flag fav's birchip are in as much trouble as the early settlers, for that matter the dees pushed the undeafeated red backs so maybe they arnt as bad as people have suggested.

charlton/wedderburn looking the goods at this stage but would the score from the weekend be turned around with cooney on the FF, parker & old sammyboy out there.....?
maybe the boort boys are just working there way to the finals to hit peek form at the right end of the season.
last year the premiers were smashed by 15 goals early in the season only to change that result into a 20 goal turnaround come GF day.

Cliff Ryan's miss after the siren against Boort looks to have been more costly for Birchip than first thought. Instead of mixing it with the top three, they are now in a dogfight to make the finals. I'm not sure if this topic has been raised before but every team has a player that the opposition loves to hate; would someone be able to fill the blanks here?

Define "Hate"

Because theres a hell of a difference between the "Hate" that guys have for the likes of the Lee Boys, compared to the "Hate" for the likes of Needs.. and probably Beckham from donald

Lee's "I Hate the Sniping prick"
Needs/Becks "I wish he would nick off" (away from the ball)

i spose the point is that in some cases, its a true onfield hatred for them, whereas others its more a "Jealous" hatred

Truck, this is a need to know basis and you don't need to know. Great sum up of the game on the weekend though mate, Wyche centre line was the difference in the last quarter racking up the most tackles in NCFL Senior Football history.

This weeks games (without hot tips as they were scorchers last week):

Wedderburn Vs St Arnaud: St Arnaud are definitely on the up and up and will give Wedderburn a real run for their money this week. Close one, Redbacks by 2 goals.

Boort Vs Donald: Donald just can't seem to find their feet. As much as we want to see them rack up a win, Boort will be too strong at home, 10 goals.

Charlton Vs Birchip-Watchem: Game of the round. Bulls to come from behind at half time and win by 4 goals.

Wycheproof-Naraport: as I said last week, everyone's a winner on bye round, Charlton no doubt had an enjoyable weekend up at Wyche watching some splendid football at the can bar on the hill awaiting the devastating outcome for Tiger Allan in the finals moments of the last. I heard a few of the boys are keen to hit the river for a few beers and some fishing while placing their right fists on their hearts belting out "God save our Queen" on Monarch-Monday. Enjoy!

its rather sad... a couple, a month or so ago, got perm redcarded for (according to them) telling one guy to "watch his back on saturday" (When they weren't even playing that particular side) (using a few more words)

Yet guys get away with this because they "dodge" the chat filter with dots and stars!
