Re: North Central Football League

My mail is that Lance won't play. He wasn't at training on Sunday and I've been told by a reliable source inside the squad he hasn't put his hand up. Have you guys been told otherwise?

Apoligies to all quality players who missed out.;) ;)
Can we try to find an entire bench with AFL names, just to make it sound more impressive.

Rock your side can't be the full strength St Arnaud side ;)

My side is actually similar to rosinka's... i would have Atkinson in the ruck however (he isn't playing cuz of his knee im pretty sure) and i would try to squeeze Simon Brearly and Scott Lloyd into the mix, both are brilliant midfielders (not cuz they play for St Arnaud, but im sure all ppl who have seen these guys play recently woudl agree)

I see wilkins is down in the backline, i would TRY to get him up forward, thats what he seems to be doing best nowdays...

as far as the full strength St Arnaud side, id have to go back to 98 for that... when we took the triple flag out (i was playin under 14's then, we just couldn't compete against donald...who could tho? theey had Young, Baird, Burke...etc etc

yes true. and plenty of others that can play tall (connors, scambler, dearaugo)
excuse my ignorance but who is C Anderson?

I had coleman anderson in as one of my 3 blokes in the league who like the rough stuff... He wears No.2 for Donald plays off a half back flank.

Re: North Central Football League

On a different matter. There was a good article in Weekly Times a week or so ago on Pat Allen. What a legend.

Worth a read

Re: North Central Football League

The word is Rick Andrews (flu) and Haldane Nelson (injured) won't play this weekend. That's the full back and the centre. In short, NCFL-Mallee will struggle. It goes from bad to worse. I'm don't envy john cossar's job for a second.

True, but there are some very handy footballers up the mallee league. Hopefully some of them have put their hand up to play.

Rumour has it that he is enjoying his time away from Donald in the Colac league. You will never see him playing for Donald again. Does anyone know how Davo is going in the Colac league. He is a player subject to white line fever!!! Not that there is anything wrong by that

Re: North Central Football League

Great NCFL teams lads.
A few inclusions i would make would be Toby Gimour (king of Ballarat) and Leigh Picione(would be leading Boort's BnF)

Yeah spot on ablett. I would have em both in.

Re: North Central Football League

How is the team looking for the weekend navies? Are you right to go?

Re: North Central Football League

Yeah the team is looking ok, i think it is a pretty good squad but the mountain men will be hard to beat there i reckon.

Is whitey still gonna play or is he injured?

Got some mail yesterday from one of my moles that Tim Wade (donald) and Thommo (charlton) have been included into the squad for the weekend to fill the hole left for a big bloke since Atkinson went down with a knee on saturday. Is this true???

Couldn't tell you mate. Think he needs a week off though. He pushes himself to the limit every week....

Have to agree with you there ablett, From what i have seen and read about leigh picioane this year he has been brilliant for Boort, at this stage in the season he would be going ok in the feeny voting as well i would imagine, thats if the umpires dont get the two L.Picioanes mixed up on their vote cards. As for gilmour he would be no use to the side with a broken arm, however as you say he is the king of ballarat and he mite come into his own later in the nite after the games have been played.

Honest mistake. I'm sure the big fella would be managing fine in those two areas, never had a problem with the ladies helping him out with the first hurdle, and as for the second... Well thats the beauty of being the King of Ballarat isn't it, Plenty of blokes lining up willing to wipe his ass for him. :D
