Comparing it to the brownlow, id presume thats the same way it works, if u are suspended ur inelegable...not sure if its the same, just a presumption

Agree with you all on the fact that "fairest" doesn't get a look in and so am also resigned to the fact that Picioane is the favourite. But don't agree with the opinion that you have to be sent off or suspended to be classified "unfair". There are thousands of people who have done unfair and even dirty acts on the field and get away with them. In my opinion, Lance is one of them...

I see where you are coming from! It wasn't that aspect that I was getting at. After the game the umpires should be giving a 3-2-1 on who was the "best and fairest" for that day, so if a player got a heap of touches but lost his nut and gave away free kicks galore then he may be best but not fairest so he wouldn't get votes.. This was my angle in regard to Picioane not getting as many votes as if it was purely best on ground...

Picioane by a street tonight, and if he doesn't win it is not justice (30 votes). Will be a well deserved Feeny medal winner.... Tim Hill (18 votes) to poll better than Andrews (17) and Cliff Ryan (16) maybe to come in 4th.
Clarke 5th, Leigh Funcke 6th.

Lance Piconi is a fair player. I think you are confusing him with his brother Lee, who sometimes gives away frees and 50 metres. Lance would be a very worthy winner of Feeny medal.

Well done to Rick great bloke and player but clearly benefited from not having others to take votes off him. Lance although he got close was robbed and probably his name and profile cost him as when he is BOG people still don’t think he is cause they expect so much of him cause he carries the ex-AFL tag. As for him not being fair get a life, he runs straight at the ball and puts his head over it; you don’t make it in the AFL by being dirty.
Also was good to see Craig Rutley got some more votes this year because last yr the umpires obviously weren’t watching the same games as me when Craig was playing.
Anyways although they are good to win no one gives a flying fu*k about league medals compared to the real thing because it’s a team game after all and lance will get the medal he deserves and wants most some GF day…. Well at least we hope he does.
And while im going eddie lee won the 2’s B&f and ya tlaking about lance not being fair hahaha

I have never seen Lance do dirty plays on the ground also.

A mate has told me Andrews has been runner-up in league b&f's 7 times so it is great to see him win it.

Although he cost me my house, car and everything else i own by winning last night congratulations to Rick Andrews.. (gerta also cleaned me up) As i have said before if there was a person that i had to go into battle with he would be one of two blokes without a doubt.
Just a question though??? How can a bloke kick 13 goals in a game and only get 1 vote????? I know the ball has to get down there and all of that but jesus 13 goals is a bog effort for me!!!

Also great to see all of the leagues best players rock up last night. Huge effort by a couple of blokes i reackon

If the leagues best forward can get 1 vote for 13 goals....then solys 12 goals had to have been worth a vote..... i didn't attend last night, so can't tell ya....thats why theres not much from me

Rick andrews, excellent effort 8 BOG's didnt poll until after round 3 nor did he poll in the last 5 matches. 25 votes half way throughthe season the count was over early! Well done Rick a great effort!

Back to business, Who's goin to win this saturday,

Ifcliff ryan is not 100% fit, or doesnt play! Charlton will win. Charlton also has the finals experience, their younger players no what it takes to win a premiership and it might show early on when the heat is on, if Koops, foott, byubcici and liston, and the other young bulls can withstand that heat early on,the bulls can get over the line.
Charlton need to find an avenue to goal a lot of their goals are coming from Midfielders. Finlay and Ben Walklate have kicked a majority of there goals, so if its a dog fight, and not a shoot out that will also work in Charltons favour.
I dont think the ground will play into any ones favour, Charlton have only played there once this year and teh bulls have been there twice. Cant see that have a bearing on the result.
I think it will be a close game, but i think Tim Hill will take cliff ryan out of the game and Charlton will get up by under 10 points. Andrews Best on Ground.

Rick might be the best player over the Home and Away season, but come saturday, it means nothin...im sure he will be out to make his mark on the NCFL finals series, just as 83 other players will be...and i think Charlton will get up....and make the double, as they should defeat Wedderburn in the 2's (my prediction)
