Terrible year for the north central this yr for absoulute tragedies, deepest sympathy goes out to St Arnaud and the ward family. Some of the worst happenings out of any league by far has north central been over the past couple of years, lets hope this is the end of it all.

On a somewhat more positive note, footy this weekend,
Played at St Arnaud

Seniors: Boort V Wedderburn- Wedda by 16
Reserves: Birchip V Wyche- Wyche by 14
16's: Wedderburn V Birchip- Wedda by 5
13's: St Arnaud V Donald- Donald 32

Seniors
Feeney Azz "Shagger" Walklate
Goals: Mark "Shagged" Peryman

Reserves

Goals: Geoff Berry

Rising Star: Andrew Chalkley (wedda)

Does anyone know if all the teams are heading into finals with a full list?
Wedderburn is without josh smith this week but will hopefully be back if they have a win.
How are boort looking? Had plenty of Depth in the 2's last time I saw them play, with the likes of hatcher and rhook running round in the magoos.

The results are in!

Aaron Walklate (Charlton) & Trav Ruyg (Donald)

Think those are right, quite a few froffies consumed on the night so may not be 100% but think they are pretty close.

Good Work Spiro impressed with ur dedication. First Trav Ruyg not a bad effort to win a feeney after only playing 11 games, equaled with Walklate of BOORT on 20 votes with Gash on 17.
Gash took out the Kieth Chalmers memorial award and Juddy the toolybuck presidents award.

So anyone half intersted in this weeks match?
Where are these boort juniors hiding, get up and about boys, your coach just took out the feeney.

Haha yes that would be Walklate of Boort, sorry about that, he just looks a lot like the Aaron Walklate that used to play for Charlton! haha

Great effort by Ruyg to win the Feeny (no 3rd e) playing only 11 or so games, also to Sammy Coloe, who was leading the 2's Best and Fairest until the last couple of Rounds, after only playing 9 games (one of which he was off the ground early injured)

with week 1 of NCFL finals over, it apperas as if ghosts of the past encounter came back to haunt Weddurburn at St.arnaud, with an almost carbon copy of their previous defeat to Boort.

Although they found something in the last quarter to cut the margin.

Boort were very impressive and will be a huge threat to the loser of this weekends game.

Apparently Corey Jones was approached to coach the Glenorchy Magpies down in the Tassie comp... Declined, apparently giving the reason that he was already Committed to a club.

Apparently Corey is an owner operator of a bussiness in Melbourne... Id say that is a bigger play for him not to goto tassy every tuesday, thursday and saturday then his contract to wyche narraport as my assitant/statistician.

Bloody Quiet on here.. Deep into finals now..

Donald V Wyche: will donald have there Pios boys back?? Wyche to gain a few that have been MIA the last few weeks. should be a cracker of a game.. perfect conditions i here too...

Donald V StArnuad: St Arnuad will have a full list to pick from with Sammy coming back from senior duties, Donald should also have a full side although one or two of their top line maybe required for senior duties. Dont think St Arnuad have the speed to go with Donald, but if its wet and wild like every ones saying its any ones game.

Can anyone up at Charlton tell me if the footy ground has copped any of the floods and if the ground will be good to go for finals saturday?

OK saturday

Donald if its wet and Boort if its dry. Wouldnt think Donald would drop two in a row. Maybe time for a few of the lads to leave their ego's at the dressing room door and play as a team.

Whyche to get up in the last after trailing all day.

Not sure on the juniors.
