Watching the AFLW draft, it's actually easier to see just how young some of these kids are that are being drafted (as opposed to many of the male draftees looking deceptively mature). It's a massive step up from going to school.

Unlike the men's draft I think teams only have three minutes to make their selection, which should mean our first selection will be sometime around 9:15-9:30. Dependent on Academy and F/D selections, of course.

Very speculative by the looks of it. Players from different sports coming in and being 1st round picks.
A lot look good athletes but not sure about the football skills, some better than others.
I suppose a lot of it is based on their potential upside and development when they get in a program.

I have been going through the 2024 AFLW Draft Profiles and there are still a few good players on the board. Zoe Besanko looks okay as a Ruck/Tall Forward selection.
