It's actually a little confusing, it says her contract expires in 2024, but she's signed for 2025, the same for Bresnehan, Shierlaw, Martin and Emma King.

I haven't heard anything official confirming their re-signings, but I have heard/read a few things where it was mentioned they will be playing for us again in 2025.

So dominant were our girls last season that in 1150 minutes of football we were behind for only 67 minutes, and 35 of those minutes were against Richmond in the wet down at Launceston. We were in front 87.75% of the season, behind for only 5.84% and scores were level for 6.42%.

As for North against the other two top teams, Brisbane and Adelaide:

• Brisbane - North spent 95.4% of game time in front, 3.6% level and 1% behind
• Adelaide - North spent 76.95% of game time in front, 8.1% level and 14.95% behind.

The scored the first point of the GF, it was actually a rushed behind and led for a total of 1 minute and 41 seconds. At that was it for the two games against our North girls.

So on account of being behind against us for the best part of 2 whole games, that accounts for well over 10% of their season so they can't have been behind for only 1% of their season.

She has every right to be a little "peeved" that none of our defenders made the All-Australian Team, the difference between our defense and the next best was astronomical.

Also, I still think our girls would have beaten the All-Australian team, especially if Garner, Riddell and O'Loughlin chose to play for us instead of the AA Team.
