Yes she did. Thug.
It's strange to think but to my eye there is more leeway given in AFLW for sniping nowadays than there is in the mens game. It's quite odd.

I think it's just number of eyes on the product. There was a pretty big (imo) commentator gaf from a game this week that has gone completely unmentioned in the media. So no noise about it means it doesn't get looked at.

Is that the Ash Brazill one? There were articles on a couple of sites but was pretty quickly & easily explained away

I just looked it up. In context if you were bothered by that you are looking for things to be upset about.

What's this about?
Long story short: In the Fremantle game, Kelli Underwood was talking to co-commentator Kirby Bentley about her long time friend Ash Brazill's athletic ability. Bentley said that Brazill had such a great jump when she was young that she "thought she was black". While people were busy looking for their nearest set of pearls to clutch, Bentley said that as a black woman that was a very high compliment

Really annoying that we didn't try to appeal, love watching Alice. Oh well. I guess it saves us a selection headache if Jenna Bruton is ready.
I’d love to see Jenna, but expecting Zoe in for Alice.

Got an email yesterday saying "Your membership pack has left our mail house and will take approximately 10 business days to arrive.". What do I do on Sunday? I'll contact the Club tomorrow.

Bella is officially one of us as the player we sponsor for the second year in a row, great to see her developing nicely
Both Eddey and Wright should play their 50th games in Round 3 against Melbourne. All our milestone games are being played away from Arden Street this season.

Three in the team of the week - Ash in the midfield and Jas and Libby on the bench.
I was a little surprised that Libby made the team because half of her kicks missed a target or went direct to an opponent, but the defensive side of her game in particular her intercept marking is probably the best in the game.

Sure, there's always been hot days - the problem is there are more of them

One of the reasons I don't live up there any more is climate change. If you want IO can give you a detailed explanation of the role climate change caused in the 19/20 fires. Most of the flooding since is the result of global warming too.

Its not just hot days tho. Its extreme weather of all kinds. This winter was the worst one ever according people in northern Tassie. More frosts than anyone can remember. That's cos of global warming paradoxically enough. Followed by the hottest August on record. (This state is a disaster zone right now. If they had a competent government they'd have declared a state of emergency on the weekend when 20% of the North Coast was without power. And we moved here for saner weather. lol)

But hot weather up there in August and September is part of the climate of that part of the world. Its called Summerland for a reason.

Come on. Hope we appeal.
Sometimes I watch AFLW decisions and think the mentality is out of the 50s - that decsions are made cos things are "too rough" for women not because they incident was against the rules of the of the game.

They got a shot on goal from directly infront for a tackle that wasn't high but was hard.

It also just isn't the AFLW that this happens in. Where there is hard forceful contact the default now is to react and give away a free, regardless of actual infractions in the rules.

Not saying it happened in this instance but I hate the new instinct in the men’s to make sure your head hits the ground - even if there is no sling and even if you have an arm free and could prevent it - with the incentive of a free kick for a fair tackle. It shouldn’t be a free because the head hits the ground regardless of the tackling action.
