Yeah, I was going for them and felt weird about it. Better for North if the other top teams have losses, but also watching it that was really brave and disciplined from a lot of young players, against some fantastic opponents and Marinoff and Randall especially lifting to try to get them home.Huge result! Go Dees
I feel a bit sick saying that.
it's pretty ridiculous how easy their fixture has been. this thing they do where the top 4 all play each other and no one else has to play more than two of them is kind of a mess when it leads to results like this. a bottom 4 team improves a bit and suddenly they're glued to the top 4, meanwhile the one time they played an actual top team it wasn't even close. It’s bizarre to think that, if we lose to Adelaide, Hawthorn would be in the box seat to finish ahead of us on the table.
I actually hope the top 2 is us and hawks at years endit's pretty ridiculous how easy their fixture has been. this thing they do where the top 4 all play each other and no one else has to play more than two of them is kind of a mess when it leads to results like this. a bottom 4 team improves a bit and suddenly they're glued to the top 4, meanwhile the one time they played an actual top team it wasn't even close.
I had North/Hawks and Brisbane/Adelaide Preliminary finals and North beating Brisbane in the GF. An undefeated season by our girls.Yeah I did a ladder predictor and it came out with an easy side and a hard side of the draw. It had us facing the Lions and Crows to get to the GF while the other side had the Hawks and Tigers.
I like yours better. We both had the same end resultI had North/Hawks and Brisbane/Adelaide Preliminary finals and North beating Brisbane in the GF. An undefeated season by our girls.
I think the Lions are clearly the second best team in it. I hope when we meet again the girls still have the same mindset as last time and dish out another serving of revenge football. The ideal result was crows beating lions last week
Which I still find amusing people thought crows losing then was good just so we could leapfrog them a week early
Adelaide's loss last night has really opened up the top 4 for teams like Hawthorn, Richmond and Fremantle. I had the Crows finishing 5th at the end of the regular season, with Fremantle 4th, Hawthorn 3rd and the Lions 2nd.I like yours better. We both had the same end result
Yep which is why I was hoping they lost last week to the crowsI think the Lions are clearly the second best team in it. I hope when we meet again the girls still have the same mindset as last time and dish out another serving of revenge football.
The simple truth of the matter is that, regardless of what other teams do, North Melbourne should/have to win the flag this year. If we don’t, it’s fair to say this season can be written off as a failure. We are so primed right now that we completely outgun every other team. I, for one, am more than happy to embrace this situation. Notwithstanding, we all know there are no guarantees in life. However, on all available evidence, no other team can live with us once we move into second/third gear.Yep which is why I was hoping they lost last week to the crows
That game could be the difference between second and third for them
We will meet in then gf would’ve been nice to make them play another away final on their road to playing us
correct but that doesn't stop me from barracking for results that make the next best teams path harderThe simple truth of the matter is that, regardless of what other teams do, North Melbourne should/have to win the flag this year. Apart from r1 which was an emotional game because it was the GF replay we haven't really played anyone who ius any good so we can't really say that. The simple truth of the matter is that, regardless of what other teams do, North Melbourne should/have to win the flag this year. Yeah, you’re right, Ferbs. However, I can just go by what I see. The structure, the 1%ers, the fluid movement. To me, we’re so much better than last year. We came within an ace of winning it then.Apart from r1 which was an emotional game because it was the GF replay we haven't really played anyone who ius any good so we can't really say that.

I agree we look shit hot compared to everyone we've played but ... yeah I just wonder if the gulf between sides is that big.Yeah, you’re right, Ferbs. However, I can just go by what I see. If they genuinely are among the quality sides in the comp then sure its positive (except for that draw I spose.) IO dunno enough about it to say. Its not an easy thing to work out when the teams don't all play each other.Richmond and Geelong and Port can be good and Melbourne just beat the Crows.
