The Featherstone one, did she shut down a player? Did she do anything out of the ordinary? Or is it potentially mistaken identity?
Must have been some 5 disposals. Presumably she kicked a point from a kick in in the backline to achieve such notice.View attachment 2175249View attachment 2175250View attachment 2175251
There has to be a criminal investigation into this. You should not be this wrong.
This is utter ridiculous. It’s happened too many times and for too ****ing long for it not to be a directive to the umpires to deny her votes.
Sonja please involve the Police and the AFP if you have to. Something ****ing stinks.
Do they vote on visibility? Kearney was certainly noticeable in that game - I thought it was noticeably one of her worst games since coming over.North votes for the night. Ash was BOG in five games.

Still can't believe they didn't give Ash votes in Round 2, but gave Kearney 2 votes, probably for her to goal assists for Geelong.
It gets funnier.
The one effective disposal she had must have been something to behold.

Not sure they understand either, and I know which one they should really be working on.I've followed Georgia Nanscawen's career since she played hockey in my boy's team as a teenager, and she deservedly played hockey for Australia. But to see her finish in an AFL BnF ahead of Jasmine Garner is an indictment - it can only mean umpires have no understanding of the game (as distinct from officiating the rules, if you see the difference)
Surely you don't get an American to play an Aussie Legend. They just can't get the Aussie accent.Just read on the internet that Oliver Stone is teaming up with Kevin Costner to make a new conspiracy film in the JFK mould on this whole voting fiasco. Early market testing on the movie title includes:
- The Invisible #25
- Three Blind Mice
- Clueless
- Not so close encounters of the Best AFLW player kind.
Costner is to play Darren Crocker, and Jenn Lawrence to play Jazzy. Stevie Wonder is playing the Umpires boss. Aaron Sorkin is writing the script with a musical score by Hans Zimmer.

Umpires’ heads would have exploded having Conti and Prespakis in the same game though. To be fair to Georgia, I watched her live in the Dreamtime game and thought she was BOG. She didn’t get any votes, the usual suspect did though.
And Erin Phillips as the side line reporter.Umpires’ heads would have exploded having Conti and Prespakis in the same game though.
I don't think they could have mistakenly given votes to a player but I do wonder why they gave the votes as they did. No logical explanation comes to mind though.I don’t know how that’s possible
NoIs there gambling on specific rounds and specific players with regards to votes?
Could someone place a bet on someone, let’s just say it’s Gabbi Featherstone for example,
to get exactly 1 vote and the game she gets that vote is North vs Cats?
