Jase should've been sounded out for the North role. Far experienced than our choice and built a flag list at the Dogs. On another note, who is running our Strength & Conditioning/Medical now? Have we been forced to go bargain basement because of the payouts to Scott, Dilena, Tudor etc. and the loss-making Kangatech?

There should be strict self-administered wellness and fatigue guidelines in place.

You don't want players so tired from football or fitness work that they can't get through training.

Not saying that to denigrate Luff or anything, but it seems pretty obvious he wasn't the first choice.
Best of luck to him. Really hoping that having so many new people in new positions means they all collaborate together more than they otherwise would, in order to make everyone's lives/jobs easier and ensure we're going in the right direction.

Hard to believe that Jason would have entertained leaving his List Manager role at GWS to become List Manager at North, irrespective of his ties to the club.

I was told we have spoken to 'quite a few' prospects. Luff ranks very high from what I hear. Not sure he was second choice. You interview your prospects and then make a choice. Maybe he was first choice. Anyway, someone I know who knows him well is full of praise for his footy knowledge and management skills. Hope he is right as it could be a ripper appointment.
