You miss the point KC. Clarkson (Werribee, St Kilda, Central District, Port Adelaide), Horse (10 years as an assistant at Sydney), Beveridge, Collingwood, Hawthorn and taking St Bedes from VAFA C-grade to A-grade premiers in 3 years) and Simmo under Clarkson. As for C. Scott, he got handed the keys to the Ferrari. Only Percy Jones could've stuffed up 2011.

It seems an odd set up and probably explains why there's been some angst between SOS and the CEO Cain Liddle, who reportedly made the Agresta appointment. Liddle, Lloyd and Agresta are mates from their junior footy days.

Clayton actually mentored Rawlings in his final year or two of playing, when Brady was undertaking some professional development in preparation for his career transition.

But Clayton at an age now where that role would suffice? Ie no longer dreams of ladder climbing.... but whoever it is explains the reason why we went into the trade period without a list mgr as the incoming one still employed by current club... all revealed EOM

Is currently performing a support role only at the Eagles, so I dare say he would find the North role appealing (and more financially rewarding).
