Dont wanna take anything away from dangers game cause it was brilliant but why does 48 possessions automatically equal a great game? Rockliffe got the same amount playing for that rabble that got flogged by carlton.
You can have possies but not have damaging possies.......I think many are commenting on, in which Dal Santo is very good at. On route relay type possessions.**** me. People carrying on about Dal Santo being injured like he wasn't playing.
He played 82% of the game and had 21 touches. That is more game time than Swallow, Ziebell and Cunners average every week.
To put it in perspective he was in our top 5 possession gatherers, only Gibson 34, Wells 31, Ziebell 22, and JMac 22 had more.
Should have got Brownlow votes for thatAll I can remember about Peaky is Ross Henshaw toweling him up.
How was the decision where Thommo got front position and then be grabbed from behind and thrown out of the way so the Geelong forward had access to the ball?
Basic decision not being paid and that ump should be demoted for the fact it was basic it was boggling.
Depending on identity of occupier of said position, and who are the whistleblowers, front position is seriously a disadvantage a lot of the time, seems like you can be manhandled, tunneled, pushed aside or under the ball, without penalty, just ask Goldy, Browny, Petrie etc etc
In the end I would be more worried if I was a Cats fan.
Should have cooked us in the 3rd Q.
And they are stuffed if Danger and Duckwood go down injured.
Which of you fine gentleman spat on the little daughter of the one of the Geelong board mega flogs????
He said he pulverised the culprit, so I know it automatically wasn't toes.
Whoever it was, I'm sure you were aiming at him and not his daughter but geez, that's pretty poor form, apparently.

Well you got that one wrong, we're still on top.2 prelims, no GF...and after tomorrow we wont be top....and after next week?
Out of interest, on reflection (not something a lot of people round here get into much), would we be feeling any better if we had, say (just spitballing here) lost to GWS by 7 goals last night instead? How would you say our premiership credentials would be viewed in the media? Thought so.

And he'll be playing next week. The point remains though until he gets more of the ball he's not up to AFL standard.Who do you play BS ?? .......look the the opponents before making the call. Mckenzie's numbers in the VFL late last season were worthy of a promotion but we were hot and no injuries. He is getting game time based on his work rate last year , his "ranking" on our list within the club and the fact he is at end of contract end of season. Whether we re-invest or not. We couldn't go a debutant not against more credible opponents, its not Scott's style.
Say you were coach.....and this is an honest question without leading anywhere ....would you have tried Lmac , BMac Atley to give them the opportunity to see if they could mix it in there with Ziebell and Wells in support?? I was amazed Scott decided to continue with Dal and CunnersAnd he'll be playing next week. The point remains though until he gets more of the ball he's not up to AFL standard.
If you compare BMac coming in to the side and Wood coming in, Wood looked a bit off the pace initially this year but he's improved rapidly, BMac has remained stagnant.
I wish he was going gangbusters but the unfortunate truth is he's just not doing enough to warrant his spot.
Maybe, maybe not. It's all very simple from where we sit and look back with 20/20 hindsight.Say you were coach.....and this is an honest question without leading anywhere ....would you have tried Lmac , BMac Atley to give them the opportunity to see if they could mix it in there with Ziebell and Wells in support??
