So I like the concept because that’s the way footy is being played.

But let’s not pretend this is revolutionary. Our previous coaches have tried this at periods and have been largely unsuccessful because of the 80 points we have up a week on turnovers.

Noble probably had the best of it in the second half of 2021 when we 3.5 games in the second half of the year.

I guess the difference now is that we have better uses out of the back half, we are much fitter, and are quicker.

We also have a fleet of mobile medium forwards that should be able to hit up better.

But it’s not going to be smooth sailing imo

I have to be honest, I really really love Northball. Yes it's been done in other codes but it gives our young list an identity. And it gives us supporters something to identify jointly on.
