Can anyone give me details of when & where this weeks NB's game is please ? Wanna try get down for a look.
No game this week. Next game will be our season opening clash against Port Melbourne on 8 April.

So no practice matches though ? Knew season hasn't started was hoping to get to a game whilst my kids aren't doing sports all weekend.
The link up between AFL and VFL for AFL clubs is really annoying for those of us that grew up in an era where our reserves team played before the seniors and it did not take too much effort to get there a little early to catch how our developing players are going. I really hate the timing of byes too for VFL but so annoying the start of season is so out of sync with our senior team.
2 items.
#1: The VFL draw is a major PITA. Each year someone gets dropped/injured and sits around playing playstation instead of VFL because it is bye week, or playing against the lost tribe week. And now we have a delayed start, seriously?
#2: McKay will do ruck work in our forward line likely anyway. So he is getting some exposure I would expect. Glad he showed some signs after his injury interrupted year last season. Hope he can show some signs early in the VFL season so he can get a call up.

I know it's Richmond and all but shai Bolton has copped a 1 match vfl suspension which has to be served before he can play in the AFL. So he misses round 1 of the vfl season which translates to being available round 5. The vfl season needs to start earlier.

I was reading the listmanagement thread and thinking about small running defenders...sorry can't help it....
Do any of the NB watchers know what happened to Reece Piper after missing the drafts. I was keen to get him as a rookie and after he missed out I was pleased when I read somewhere he signed with NB but haven't seen his name mentioned anywhere since....
