AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Top 5 (and the rest) at the end of 2010 boys:
H'Berg - Ins and outs probably equal out, Taller with an eye on younger recruits (besides Caddy)
Mont - Some big outs also but will surprise with their recruits. Will hold their own and contend
Eltham - gaining momentum via youth and will add some experience finally. Coach getting the most from this group but still lacking in key positions (size and quality)
Northcote Park - cashed up. Good leverage position this year and should add stocks that take them a little further. Will address the fade out this year.
Bundoora - A few BIG men gone which will really hurt them. Ins won't account for smaller overall size.
***********************************************
Doggies - weakish defence now coupled with weakened attack
West Preston - In and outs doesnt instil confidence. animosity continues to hamper their progress internally
Lalor - 2009 best player lost to Eltham. Lance aging too quickly. Too small overall to make serious challenge
Macleod - keen enough, talented enough, well prepared to winn 3 games. Too small in body and height
Greensborough - Frail 2009 with some big outs. Coach not an enticing factor to play there. relegation.
Apart from heidelberg you got it totally wrong. Knowone rated bundoora last year and they were clearly the second best team in the comp. looks like its gona be the same story for next year. they have a great young side and have only lost o'brien and finlayson from last year. they have picked up some tall timber and also get back grossman who only played a few games last year. I believe them and heidelberg wil be 1 qnd 2 again. apart from that i think u north, mont, northcote and heidelberg will fight out the last 3 spots. eltham to finished 3rd is a bit rich, considering they finished 3rd last.

i agree that eltham will be the improvers and they will make the top 5, but to say they will be 2 places above bundoora is just bloody stupid. o'brien didnt play in a finals game and bundoora destoyed both north and mont. finlayson will be a loss, but to get back grossman, harrison, hogg, and it looks like richard cole and maybe cupido, i think bundoora is looking for a bigger and better year than last year, and not falling down the ladder.I appreciate that Eltham may be a contentious suggestion (amongst a few others) at this stage but I simply wanted to stimulate some debate given known emerging preparations for 2010. Bundoora were not the second best team in 2009 as Lions12 suggests. They made the GF but their year was not that of the second best team. Mont fell away in the last 2 weeks but were clearly a better team than Bundoora throughout the home and away season.
Where has O'Brien gone to?and have only lost o'brien and finlayson
I would think both would be pretty hard to replace O'Brien 3rd in comp goalkicking
Finlayson named in Bundoora best players 11 times during year. Close to best player in the Grand final
have heard o,brein has gone up 2 live and work in yarrawonga and that muwala were chasing himWhere has O'Brien gone to?
Cant see Eltham finishing top 3. Will struggle to make the top 5. Really young list without much seasoned bodies. Kids playing a mans game but they do have the foundations set for a solid future
Which lalor player went to eltham?
Lalor - 2009 best player lost to Eltham. Lance aging too quickly. Too small
No one remembers what you did in the home and away its getting to the big dance that matters and Bundoora got there its that simple!!I appreciate that Eltham may be a contentious suggestion (amongst a few others) at this stage but I simply wanted to stimulate some debate given known emerging preparations for 2010. Thats very harsh, hes not going anywhere, he having a year off football to finish off his studying, which will restrict him from training and playing. he will be back to play at bundoora in 2011.Papaluca is as about as Loyal as Tiger Woods. I can never understand why players go around in circles changing clubs. He left Marcellin when they were in A grade to play D4 with St Mary's because he believed he would have a better chance of getting drafted. That was SHORT lived, tried his luck with the Bock Hill Hawks and tried Bundoora. Does anyone know where he indends on playing? Fair to say that he has had more clubs then Tiger Woods, but it'd be more accurate to say he's had more clubs then Tiger Woods mistresses...
Whats that meant to mean? apart from the nolans they r only just useful players. and 1 of the nolans arent playing at heidelberg are they?Finn
Hall, Caddy
Nolan, Kennedy, Nolan
can confirm eltham have not signed anyone from lalor, just more bf rumours. can also confirm they are a bunch of cats who will not go near the 4 or 5 this year.
the numbers were so high because players from the last 2 years turned hoping to get the match payments. eltham promised to pay then on the first session but once again no dollars
when did u see the cheque book mate?
Finn
Hall, Caddy
Nolan, Kennedy, Nolan

no worries, just dont put them in the same room together when they have been drinking, that simple. Or is it?Perhaps you could pass on some expert advice in relation to conflict resolution?
