What are the various grounds like at the moment?
Had a walk across De Winton today and even though it looks good from a distance its a bit patchy. I think they mowed it short for the cricket season & then we had that hot spell & it set it back a fair bit.
Also walked around Shelley St & it needs some rain for sure. What about the others?

well well saul has done it again. A few senior heidelberg players have gone to barrot and said if saul plays there they are walking out on the club. And then blair went to him and said if saul goes he goes with him. wonder what the outcome will be. And north look like they are in for a rebuilding year and may struggle to make the 5. They have lost saul, harley ryan and now shane harvey has gone to barooga. Gona be an intersting season ahead!

Huge singing for the bunnies, is he the early favourite for recruit of the year? or perhaps Heidelberg's Mark Coughlan is holding firm. In any case this should lift the standard of the league up a notch which can only be good.

Wow he is a huge pickup for bundoora to go along with richard cole and a few others. If bundoora can get his mind on footy he is an absolute star, kicked 60 odd goals in the sanfl last year from the wing. And i believe that coughlan wil not play at heidelberg, he is having one last crack at vfl.

Caught a glimpse of Cole in the EDFL - moved with the speed of a glacier and showed as much interest as one. Will need to markedly improve fitness unless he is going to prop in the goalsquare a la "Spider" Shaw.
