I think your missing a few other players that could also fit into that squad from the Panton Hill team, the best full back in the comp #47 Mc Auliffe for starters

South Morang vs Heidelberg West. an opportunity for the Hawks t be the best side outside the four and claim BigFooty bragging rights.
Parkside vs St Marys. In racing terms the Sianst were bad last week after the spell and second up won't improve with teh Devils setting their sights on teh finals.
Reservoir vs Panton Hill. The Mustangs welcome back big Ryan D although they lose the Defelice boys (why?) and should be able to kill off the Redbacks attack, who because of a quirk in the draw wouldn't be able to take second even if they did win.
Hurstbridge - Bye.

South Morang
vs
Heidelberg West
@Mill Park Lakes Reserve
The Hawks will come into this game as the favourite (not often that has happened) and needless to say South Morang need a win, not only for points but for their confidence. Heidelberg West didn't play well last time they went up to Morang but it should be a different story this sunday with West to get up reasonably comfortably.
Heidelberg West by 25 points

Parkside
vs
St.Marys
@Pitcher Park
Parkside had an agonising loss to old foe Hurstbridge last week and will be looking to get back on the winners list. St.Marys have somewhat lost some momentum after the win and a bye. The Burra will put up a good fight but Parkside to be to strong at home and win easily. (Interesting to see one D.King back in the Devils team on nfl.org after a lot of speculation over what he was doing)
Parkside by 60 points

Reservoir
vs
Panton Hill
@Crispe Park
The last game of the season for the Mustangs and they will be looking to seek revenge on Panton Hill who beat them in Round 10 by 89 points. Should be the game of the round with the inform Redbacks to put up a great contest against Reservoir. Having said that Reservoir should be good enough to get the biscuits.
Reservoir by 15 points

morang to repeat the dose of last times effort v these old heidleberg west hacks and knock them off by about 3-4 goals with alot of the morang youngsters showing these super rules players how its done

South Morang 4.3 7.9 9.10 12.17 (89)

Heidelberg West 6.3 10.4 14.6 16.7 (103)

I guess the scoreline didn't quite pan out how you expected Moranglion. Still you have St.Marys next week which is a chance for a win. But, South Morang would hate to be the only team to lose to the worst team in the league twice!!! ;)

A certain incident in the Pan$ton Hill-Reservoir game was one of the worst ive seen on a footy field, garrard kneeing docherty in the head whilst on the ground a dead set dogs act, Docherty done well to hold himself back he and the rezza boys clearly werent happy with it, but did well not to elevate the situation. If they meet again in the finals Garrard i'd advise you not to put your head over the footy, cos there are many blokes down rezza way that will knock it right of your shoulders!

mmmm interesting im not sure if it was the worst seen on a footy field yes it was ordinary. but i dont know how heavy it was .... I think gerrard would regret that incident ....... Yes docca did well to hold himself back and others but they clearly there to win the game .... should be a great finals series !

You obviously haven't seen much footy then observer? Garrard was pulled down by Docherty and the umpire was 1 meter away so if there was anything in it we'd be hearing about it! But it seems like you're just like the rest of the rezza idiots that think knocking someones head off is the way things should be solved?

Got out to watch some of the Parkside vs St Marys match on the weekend.
I dropped in between watching Div 1 matches and could only last 15 min of the match. 3rd Qtr. Parkside has gone backwards. There were some of their better players who didn't seem to play. Wise has slowed down a bit, Hockey is getting slower, however just as much of it. I liked the ruckman - Toppa.
St Marys on the other hand, well, very ordinary. I am with everyone else, that they have done a great job to get a team from practically zero. This year, their players are not much. Hopefully next year this will improve and they can start being competitive. On this form, I cannot see Parkside winning back to back.

the old rezza would have smashed garrard but its something rfc are trying to take out of there game and come finals time they will not be holding back.yes ph have won the last 2 against us but finals is a didnt ball game.

it was a shame for 2 young blokes at both clubs getting taken to hospital and now will miss finals.but thats footy they will bounce back next year.

How could you possibly select anyone from a south morang team? They are rubbish

that maybe so silver back but watching some of there games this year the kid Collier is as tough as nails and does not stop all day he would walk into any side in div 3 so I reckon his on the money with his team
I agree, he's a tough little nugget, having played on him a few times this year and was the Lions best player on the weekend by a mile.

can i throw out a wobbly one? could it b possible that the match of the round could be St.Marys vs South Morang?? both sides with nothing to lose and would love to finish with a win to finish off wat has been very long seasons for both clubs. St.Marys would b thrilled to get two wins under their belt an not finish outrite last while South Morang would surely do anything to win against the bottom side an finish 6th (not equal last). looks like a nothing game on paper but im expecting a firery battle with both sides to contest fiercly from the first bounce to the final siren.......surely!!

Big weekend for West this week with our reserves looking at a spot in the finals. Big ask against a stong Hurstbridge team but hopefully things go our way on the day.

Seniors will be looking to finish the year on a high after what has been a great turn in form this year and the future is looking good.

WiB!

The final round for a couple of teams and some interesting games across both firsts and seconds. So about the main show:
West Heidelberg vs Hurstbridge. As expected the Hawks have had one of their best seasons for a number of years, but the Bridges are shooting to get back to division two so they won't be in a friendly mood today.
St Marys vs South Morang. An interesting match at the Lakes. The Bye week came at the wrong time for the Saints and they have been disappointing since their first win. The Lions are playing for pride and with their seconds already finals bound expect a couple of the heavyweights from that team to be promoted. Would love to tip the Saints but feel the Lions will prevail.
Panton Hill vs Parkside. A preview of next week's first semi, assuming all goes as expected. The Redbacks will be biting mad that the match has been switched after all the preparations for the final home game. The Devils have been hot and cold of recent times and expect the Redbacks to win as they would be looking to the Hawks to spring the monster surprise of the season and grab the double chance.

As for the seconds, again the Hawks need to pull off a miracle win to take a finals berth as the Redbacks would be expected to easily account for the Devils.

Thats not a nice thing to say about Shane Bamford or Ryan Wilson.;)

Heidelberg West vs Hurstbridge
Well done on West for having their best season in a long time. Hurstbridge are young and fast team and should easily account for what you'd hope would be a gallant Hawks team.
Hurstbridge by 70 points

St.Marys vs South Morang
In what has been an excruciating couple of months for the Lions and a bad last few weeks for the Burra, this should be a close one! So far its locked at 1 win a piece between these 2 sides but I think that with the possible outcome of losing to the worst team in the league twice this season will be enough inspiration for Morang to just get over the top.
South Morang by 8 points

Panton Hill vs Parkside (At Parkside)
Panton Hill look to be hitting their straps at the right time of the year as they showed they are the real deal beating the first placed Reservoir. Parkside at home will be eager to head into finals with a win but I think the Redbacks will be just too good and take home the points.
Panton Hill by 18 points

Reservoir have a bye and will be looking to head out and have a good look at their competition in the finals.
