North's new jumper

You can actually see the sky-blue shorts underneath that banner that says "TANGO-ROOS".

They should wear that with white shorts not sky blue...it's gonna look terrible with sky-blue shorts as well.

i think it would look good for an away jumper but not home or anything.
its not the best its too pail.

but we can't really decide on what they choose to wear.

Im sure the Eddie will find something to winge about as to how it affects Collingwood:(

I'm sure if Eddie was president of Port Adelaide he would complain about the sky blue being too similiar to teal and the design being too close to prison bars.

He might also complain that North is too similar to Port and also that two-name teams cant infringe on Port Adelaide.

I dont question Eddie's passion, or wherewithall, but I do the whole idea that any team/league can outlaw team's wearing whatever colors they like. Sure, Magpies (a brand name) cant be infringed on, but colors is absurd, same with jersey designs. There's also more than 17% difference between the prison-bars and the 3 striped jersey by legal definitions to be ok as well.

This is why every league body in the world doesnt forbid teams wearing any colors/designs they like because they have "home" and "away" (white) jersey system.

I don't think it's too bad, certainly not the worst guernsey I have ever seen.

I'm in agreeance with the posters that have stated that it will look better on the field.

I dont mind it at all, should definitely lose the darker outline but other than that looks good. Nobody thinks the Argentinian shirt looks bad, and this one is hardly much different.

But my only concern is that it has no purpose or effectiveness.

I would have thought North's traditional blue strips on white jumper was consider a "light" in the world of light v dark, so they need a "dark" alternative, a bit like the blue with white V which they have worn before.

They need a dark jumper to be a "clash", not another light one.

Vomitworthy...lose the darker blue pinstripe for a start.

Totally agree ^^, plus reebok logo should be navy blue. Don't like how the kangaroo logo sits. Is there a need for this?

Sponsor will be happy though as mazda logo sticks out like dog balls.

Other than that, have seen worst. 5.5/10

Nah he's definately wearing the normal kangas shorts (you can see the contrast between them and the light blue stripes)

In theory, this was a great idea.

In practice, it could be a whole lote better.

1. lose the pinstripes.
2. get rid of the kangas logo. adds an unessary source of royal blue.
3. make the mazda logo the same as the normal one.
4. change the stripes from a powder blue to a sky blue. sydney fc do it really well with the white.

exhibit A.

the less differences between this and the home jumper, the better. it should be exactly the same except lighter stripes and white collar/cuffs. and white shorts.

and im sure eddie would get rid of that shit house thing you call a float for pre-game entertainment

the contrast is due to the GRAY banner over the top of it making it look darker...which by definition is exactly what "contrast" means----more gray-scale added in to something.

but it's actually sky-blue if you really really look.
