Does the club shop do number printing for guernseys? I thought there was an option to get a number if you ordered online, but it’s just the base option. Last one I bought was the 2017 premiership version with the gold premiers badge, with the number 4..

Was that a one off? Otherwise, where can you get it done?
I've been wondering this myself for a while now, does anybody know?

Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I see that ex premiership player Clay Smith is doing a Barry Hall by having a pro fight.

March 28 at Flemington, barring cancellations, postponements.

Anyone heard whether he has aspirations in that particular direction?

Very, very important matter to discuss - who is the female player supposed to be in the artwork for the Juniors program? Clearly that’s Daniel and Richards next to her, but no idea on the female. 1864A599-98C3-4AB9-8731-DCE08874726B.jpeg

One thing this whole virus has made me aware of in regards to our clubs internal marketing & access is it’s garbage compared to other clubs.

we’ve barely seen a hint of stuff from
Inside the walls of Whitten oval. North Melbourne had their media guy on a 45minute live stream walking around the club showing their viewers how the players prepare to head out to training, pre-training activities, club facilities, player interviews, the works. It’s such a low effort/low budget way to engage but it’s what fans want and it was a brilliant insight.

I’ve seen plenty of other clubs do similar things too, but The Dogs seem to put up walls around the joint. Let your fans inside through your lense, guys! Especially in times like these where the fans won’t get ANY interaction with the players probably for a few months.
Our marketing department has needed a shakeup for a while now I reckon.

Has anyone noticed we're able to write "shit" again in BF posts*? Must've relaxed the rules again.

* Writing the word "shit" as distinct from writing shit. The latter is of course a BF constant.

One of the greatest things to happen to this board ever

I wonder if the limited access is a Bevo thing, what with his disdain for anything media...Even if it is just controlled club social media instead of random journos.

With the club having to lay off staff I am guessing that all but one of the recruiters has gone too. If the lower leagues don't play again in 2020 what does this mean for our next draft. The first pick is set but will the later picks be a complete raffle? Could be some real gems there but everyone will be in the dark.

All clubs will have their intel on under age players accumulated over the last few years. Some kids get spotted and tracked from their early teens.

However there will certainly be a lot less insight. There won't be any "smokies" who only emerge in their draft year. Players like Bont were barely in the conversation for a first round pick before their u18 year. The overage kids who have finally got their act together won't have a chance to show the recruiting world.

It won't be a complete raffle though, especially for us if we are still keen on JUH, Raak and MacPherson. Same for other clubs with F/S and NGA prospects coming up for the next draft.

In the great footy shakeout that's likely to occur due to the Covid-19 crisis the draft rules might be changed too. For instance if lists are drastically reduced clubs may not be obliged to draft a minimum of 3 players. If the season isn't over until Christmas the draft might not be held until January.
