I can’t decide how I really feel about it, but it makes for a very interesting tournament.

Lets see what happens when the football season starts if it comes to light that some football players haven't been jabbed.
The precedent has now been set with Djokovic and the same rules should apply to all who haven't been jabbed.
The lawyers are now waiting in the shadows to pounce as soon as a non vaccinated footballer isn't allowed to play.

Do we know if he's had a 2nd dose of COVID? It was reported in June 2020 that he had, so that's 18 months ago not under 6.

This reminds me of someone who was on remand whilst I was working at Barwon Prison. He was part of Nacer Benbrika's wannabe terrorist cell. The whole time he was on remand, he followed the whole thing, the non shaving, the headwear, the language, the quoting from the Quran and the rage against the west. When it came time to stand trial, he shaved, no headwear, no anti western rage or quoting from the Quran. He was just an ordinary suburban boy, nicely groomed in a nice plain suit. What a coward.

Djokovic has been a vocal opponent of vaccination, yet here we are, instead of standing by his principles, he slides in on his belly like a rat an puts his hand out for an exemption. His ambition to be the greatest Grand Slam winner in his own right over riding his integrity, what a shit stain.

1) I won’t be voting for Andrews at the next election (not that it will matter). I have been through this in the Andrews thread

2) What has Andrews got to gain politically by singing the tune for months that all players must be vaccinated and then backflipping at the last minute? It makes no sense to anybody not wearing a tin foil hat.

Andrews can be pinned for plenty but you braindead morons will literally blame him for everything.

I worked with a number of people in the WA mines who are anti vaxx, I think they were silly in the end, but they stayed true to their beliefs and all are now unemployed, none of them were trying to get dodgy exemptions so they could keep their jobs.

You can't blame Andrews in this instance, it is a medical call, same as been in force for two years. We all know it's a bad result.

It’s a lot different when you’re already an Aus citizen who’s staying and working here permanently, compared to a tennis player who is here for a maximum of three weeks (and goes through daily PCR testing).

FWIW, I’ve seen and heard of plenty of cases where unvaccinated people have begged for an exemption. A lot of them have gone down dodgy routes too…

Then the problem is with the system. If you’ve had Covid in the last six months then you shouldn’t need the vaccine UNLESS you’re planning to stay here permanently.

Doesn't really make any sense that the Andrews Government would influence the decision of the panel and tell it to allow the exemption. If they were to influence it, they would have done the opposite thing and tell the panel to advise Djokovic he can stick his exemption. Your judgement is clouded because of your hatred of the State Government but this decision had nothing to do with them.

Seriously though I don't think Djokovic should be allowed and if he is I hope he gets a frosty reception at his matches (unlike last year's final which was still pro Djokovic).
