NRL lucked out like the AFL with the final day of the regular season.

Sharks (4th) plays @ Sea Eagles (7th).
Cronulla is almost certainly locked in to finish 4th. They'd have to win by 74 points to move into third or lose by 124 points to drop outside the top four. Manly are playing for a home final next week so there's a lot more incentive for them to win. A win sees them jump to 6th where they'll host an Elimination Final. Manly are 9-2 at home this season so I fancy them to get the job done. They're paying $1.80 or thereabouts so I reckon that looks good. Might even be worth a punt at 13+ given their extra motivation.

Dolphins (9th) plays @ Knights (10th).
The winner of this one finishes 8th. All to play for. This looks like a no bet game. Hard to find an edge. Knights are slight favourites.

Short term bet which I think is pretty safe easy money, you can get Storm and Penrith both around $2.40 - $2.50 for the premiership, securing profit if either win.

Unless you feel one of Roosters or Sharks is capable of beating them both away from home in consecutive games (which I dont) , then it's a fairly safe bet at least one of them will win the premiership.

I've put a reasonable amount on and it makes a tidy profit if it comes off.
