Whatever happens, hats off to your lads for having a good crack at it.

Cheers mate.

Given the target, they had every right to shut up shop.

It's David Hookes attitude coming through.

Roach doesn't have to do a thing except keep the balls out, and give as much strike over to Hussey.

No need for him to be a hero when the run rate is just a tick over two. It would be diabolical to have a rush of blood now.

A typical down to the wire affair now.

Hussey closing in on 200, at a strike rate of 94.

The next Gilchrist (in terms of batting)?

Certainly has the same approach.

I still laugh at the story surrounding him leaving WA. Apparently he was making massive scores at district level, yet the selectors confused he and his brother, and thus assumed it was Mike Hussey making all the runs.

GOLD.

Hussey smacks a 4, only 62 to go. Might hang around to see what happens.

Unless he gets bored and can't be bothered. Might decide to watch the highlights on the news instead.

For a first class match, that strike rate is exceptional. Now, with plenty of overs in hand, he just has to maintain the strike at all times and maintain his shot playing without taking many risks.

He would be aware that once he goes, so does the team. While he's there, the ball is in our court.

93.2 Lambert to Roach, FOUR, fullish delivery, driven away to the cow corner boundary
93.1 Lambert to Roach, FOUR, full pitched delivery, struck through mid on, Nash fails to field cleanly

92.6 MacGill to Roach, three runs, defensively forward, gets a thick
edge through third man

WOO HOO!
