Amazing run chase by the Bushrangers, scoring 455 in the last innings is a fantastic effort and should go a long way to seeing us make the Pura Cup Final and perhaps even hosting it.

Yesterday I started work at 1pm and remained there all night, stuck there for the sleepover, not finishing till 7.30 this morning. As it was, I had to make do with infreequent score updates on the radio.

I'd just like to say that I have just read the last ten pages or so of this thread and reckon it is the best of any sort I have read on Bigfooty. More suspense than a Hitchcock thriller and beautifully told by all. Also wonderful was seeing so many regulars who would be willing to rip each others' throats out if it were a footy discussion joining together in celebration of a fine sporting effort.

Absolutely brilliant stuff and I'd like to congratulate everyone who posted on that riveting final day. You all did the match proud.

I agree - one of the best threads I've read on here (and I've been around far too long now!). It's always great when you have an event like this that can only be followed online.

The only other one that comes close is the final day of the South American qualifiers to determine who played Australia. That was pretty tense as the possible opponent changed about 5 times.

But I reckon this takes the cake (must be close to the longest thread on the cricket board as well).

Phat brought up his century of posts last night and a well deseved century it was to. He was well supported by catattack who brought up a quick fire half century to keep things moving.

Everbody else made some very short and telling contributions which lead to this great result.

Not sure if this has been mention (it's a long thread) but Victoria have now "won" their last seven matches in NSW (four outright, three first innings).

In fact this match was the only one of those seven meetings that NSW have taken away some points from.
