Jokic doing a hard carry job so far this season.
I don't see how we are possibly going to contend based on how we have been playing so far. We are just scraping by beating bottom feeders.
Big Brain Booth has risked it all by relying on an inexperienced bench + an old Westbrook, DJ and Saric. We really need Strawther, Watson and Braun to take a big step this season.

Booth has ****ed this team hard. We have almost zero draft picks to trade and not many assets player wise.
I don’t see how this can be fixed. The roster is awful. Too many players that are awful defenders (Murray, MPJ, Jokic, Strawther). You cant have Jokic dishing it to f****** Russ/Watson/Braun in the corners FMD.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Jokic demands a trade in the next 12-18 months

Why the **** would Jokic want to dish out to the corner exactly? He didnt do it in 2023 to any success. 3 pts percentages are the same as it was in 2023.
Roster was never getting better for salary cap reasons but should still have enough to compete atleast come playoff time. I think last weeks moves been good. Starting Westbrook with Murray is a good move. He makes up for the uselesness Murray provides with rebounding and anything besides 3 pt shooting. Russ atleast can drive to the bucket. Braun feels better at SF. His defending is a bit average on the elite PGs cos he lacks pace. On the wing is where he is better suited. Porter Jnr gotta be flicked. Too much money and too deep in the tax next year. Id chuck the little draft capital I have to Brooklyn and swap out Porter Jnr + Ninaji for Russell/Bojan/Z.Williams who are all on expiring + can contribute this year at a good level (Bojan back from injury soon). That frees up 46 mill for next year to do something with
That is where a Bruce Brown + a guy like Larry Nance . Can probably also afford a decent mid level player too
