Been spinning this a fair bit lately, not usually a fan of heavy stuff but the pre-chorus in this is really cool and I'm partial to a female vocalist. Amazingly the average of the band is 17 but they formed in 2007 (work that out!)

I posted about these guys on the music board. I feel a bit dirty for listening to a post hardcore band, but their new stuff is pretty cool.

sounds like a shit version of Ride

i dont like that posthardcore-cum-shoegaze-elementy seems to be the new trend

More shoegaze/less post hardcore is a win-win situation, though.

Best shoegaze revival (can we call it a revival yet?) is Flyying Colours, though

It's just how the scene has evolved via posthardcore and deathcore - now its shifted to shoegaze/post-rock. BMTH I believe introduced a more post-rock sound on their latest album, as those types of bands try to keep up with the trends. Granted that is better than post hardcore, but it will unfortunately be done to death and ruined over the course of the next few years.

Don't mind me some post-rock elements doe, like in Deafheaven's gem Sunbather which I posted a couple of pages back, or some Les Discrets who absolutely kill it.

And Ride. Ride is amazing.
