Fk, just broke rule #1: Don't enter the SC forum until at least the new year.

Forget prices & positions for now. What I want to know is who's burning up the track... Or, more importantly, who's out on the pi$$?

Yep, I was hoping for him to be around the $580k mark.

Doc at $436 is still a bargain, apparently smashing it on the training track. In the best shape of his life. Hasn’t missed a beat. Has impressed me the most. Is a lock. He and 43 other blue baggers are smashing it on the track. In the best shape of their lives. Haven’t missed a beat. They’ve impressed me the most. All are a lock.
Always too many of our own team players at this time of the year ..... that changes as i get to the 3,000th configuration

A lot of DEF dual position options ..... do i trust Milera def/mid

Laird did my head in last year, I wanted to find whatever village he came from so I could burn it down.

I would then be a benevolent dictator and help them rebuild, only to burn it down again.

Between Laird and not jumping on the Tigs rookies when I should’ve I slumped to my lowest ever ranking since I started.

About 5-6 years ago I finished top 1k in consecutive years and haven’t been able to replicate any semblance of the form that made me one of the most feared SuoerCoaches in all the land.

By all the land I mean me, just me.

Edit: What the **** is a suoercoach?!?!

Double edit: Yeah jump on Milera for sure. Gives the rest of us a leg up 😛

Cockatoo is a nice price for a FWD rookie that should get games.
Is he still alive?
In my first rough draft .... Cockatoo a bit hard to knock back at his price
Apparently training well .... but that means zilch with him .... makes our Port boy look like a german tank of resilience

For those who don’t have supercoach gold, is there a excel team picker anywhere?
Always are a few .... might be a few days till they appear .... pricing would have to be inserted into the spreadsheets

No team picker, however if you register for Gold you get access right away which I think is a change.

Jock Reynolds site is usually quick to get a team picker out if I recall correctly.

I just signed into my SC Account from last season & Gold Picker was already available ??

IIRC i had last season too, but not on my pre-existing SC Account .... i had to register again for a new Account & Gold Picker was available FREE for a period of time to new registrations

Don’t know why i have picker on my old Account ??

I’m new.
Kadog ...I’ll take the blame for this .... please go easy on me

But he told me he runs SuperCoach Workshops for the elderly in retirement villages .... who could refuse that pitch

On first look I think there will be a lot of very similar teams this year. My thoughts...

Def (3,1,4 or 4,0,4 or 4,1,3 if you don't take both Grundy and Gawn))
Doc is a lock
Sicily underpriced with his role changes last year. With better defensive stocks he should be freed to rack em up this year - lock
Williams or Laird or another premo. Laird underpriced. Lloyd could be the other choice but he is expensive - this will be a point of decision.
Roberton if he plays R1
Gould if he plays round 1

Mid (5,0,6)
5 premos - Kelly, Cripps, McCrae will be in a lot of teams, Oliver, Cogs underpriced would be my first picks.
Mitchell too expensive
Fyfe misses to many games for the price (plus rumours he will spend more time forward)
Ward not cheap enough and not quite superpremo material
Rocky - hahahahahahhahahahahaha no
3 on field cheapies - Pickett and 2 others. Rowell or no Rowell might be a pod
Haven't searched for midpricers yet but no obvious ones with just M designation.

Ruck (2,0,1 or 1,1,1)
This should be a difference maker. Fork out for both Grundy and Gawn or just one?
If you take just one who is R2 - Jacobs
Naitanui not reliable enough and not enough discount.
Starting Goldy as R2 was a mistake last year. Won't do that again.
R3 some trash. Waiting to see some analysis of the cheap ruck options. Maybe Darcy Cameron as he's bound to play if Grundy goes down.
Will be a close watch on alternate rucks early in the year to find a possible break out candidate. Perhaps English for R2 for the brave?

Forward (3,2,3) or (4,1,3)
Whitfield, Martin, Smith, Steven, Rankine and one other on field.
One other premo - haven't analysed yet except they WILL NOT BE FROM PORT.
Perhaps the one other premo could be a low priced KP forward with an easy early draw (this could be a good point of difference)
Greene will have less mid time - no for me.
Buddy no - declining output and injury risk.
McDonald no - not cheap enough for a forward who is not a top 6 candidate
Can't see any value in starting a R/F
