No exceptions*Chuckles in Rowell*
Lukosius, Howe, Milera, Taylor.
Rowell, Lyons, Bolton.
Setterfield
Add a bit of
Worrell, Stocker, Bianco, Valente, Golds, Mead, C-Dawkins, Dow.
Garnish with Neale, Gawndy types.
Voila. Bon appetit.
I'll deal with that question in 6-7 months time. No crapping on my tasties please. You're going to pay a $ equivalent of a 120 average for Howe?
North quartet.
McDonald, Cunnington, Brown and Ziebell.
Marshall if he gets DPP, will likely start him at R2 and pray that the big dog ruck I don't pick drops to a reasonable price.
Heeney, and for once I will actually just start Lloyd instead of getting mad about his scores for the first half of the season.
Titch lock.
That's an unhealthy amount of North
Indeed. Can't remember any North premos I've had that have worked out before besides Goldy.
Maybe next year is the year.
Every non-rookie North player that I have owned in SC.
Boomer
Goldy
Simpkin
I once owned Higgins, but he was playing for the Doggies at the time.
Think it's just Boomer and Goldy for me.
Wells was good that year he was cheap, but wouldn't call him a premo.
Yes how we all judge true value next year will be what makes or breaks us.Going to be very interesting next year with starting prices. At the end of each quarter, they're upscaling almost every player.
Would Neale be averaging 140 if this was a normal season with 20 minute quarters? Maybe he would be averaging 130.
Big jumps in for Maynard and Haynes. Improvement or is it completely due to the shorter quarters and upscaling?
Overall they've done a decent job getting similar scores/averages, but the extra upscaling has screwed the averages of some players up no doubt.
Good luck trying to come up with a competitive team if you start with all four of those. There's $3m gone already.Starting Neale, Macrae, Titch and Lloyd.
Chip scabs r us.

Some scribblings (with the caveat that the averages won't be set in stone for another 5 weeks). Have added their averages for the last three years:
I'll start with defenders:

My overall vibe here is that the good defenders seem somewhat overvalued.
Lloyd is probably over-priced but given his consistency (no scores under 100 since R1) and the sheer gap he has over the rest of the defensive field you probably have to start with him.
Ryan is likely in the best six defenders but seems a bit overvalued. He's someone who can also fall into significant slumps so I'd have him as an upgrade target.
Ridley? Depends on how confident you are on him backing this season up. He'd be a "wait" for mine but I wouldn't think it's a disastrous call to go for him early.
Maynard, Saad, Blicavs and Haynes are pretty big nos for me as I think they've been significant risers from point inflation. Maynard probably the best of the options as he's younger so this season more likely to be a breakout. Blicavs at his best could score heavily in 20 minute quarters but that was when he was a midfielder/specialist 3rd man up.
Mills a probable no as that 173 inflates his average quite significantly (by 7 points!)
Laird makes sense, especially if he is a D/M. His role is worth watching though so I might avoid. Still he's very consistent a
Daniel? Well he's pretty consistent but not flat out brilliant. An effective D2 if there aren't great midpricers.
Williams's averages look enticing on paper but his fitness worries me. Not worth it unless his average actually does stay around 90.
Stewart looks a good option for your D2/3 - his average is weighed down by that injury-affected 18 and he's shown that he can be a defensive premium before this season.
Rampe is OK but prone to enough shockers I'd look elsewhere.
Hurn is finished as an SC prospect.
I've added a couple of guys who seem enticing mid-pricers. If I've missed anyone, let me know.
Ill ****en finish you campaignerHurn is finished as an SC prospect.

From the 5 games he'll play when he's not injured.Doedee for 90+ average
