After having a little fun and games with all and sundry over the off-season, the Baghdad Bombers are pleased to officially confirm our Leadership Group for Season 39 of the SFA.
Firstly the LG comprising of:
scapegoats captains for the season:
I will continue on as captain for this season as the sacrificial lamb for all the penalties that are sure to be applied to the Baghdad Bombers at different stages of the year. We are yet to settle on the Committee Rep position so I will continue in that role for the start of the year and we will move to someone new as part of our succession planning at some stage.
It is with great pleasure we announce that I will be joined by DemurePrincess as co-captain for this season. DP has embraced everything it means to be a member of the Baghdad Bombers and her commitment to engagement with all and sundry has been first class. A recruiting juggernaut, DP has managed to keep the stocks of new blood at the Bombers well and truly at capacity since her transfer during the trade period last season. She has found her home at Abdu Prison and we are extremely grateful to have her and thrilled she has agreed to take on this important role at the club.
The Baghdad Bombers made huge inroads into closing the gap between where we were, and the very elite benchmarks, of every measurable category in the latter part of last season. We even won one of the two trophies on offer for the year and we intend to have similar success again this season.

- A former captain and certified legend of the SFA who needs no further introduction VainGlorious returns to the LG after some time away.
- Another former captain and SFA's most popular drinking partner BLUEALLTHRU remains part of the LG after rejoining mid-season in S38
- The soft heart and relief valve for the LG snozulu continues for another season
- The inventor of his own game who can keep his eyes on multiple things at at time Bovo will also remain in the LG this season
- A man with an appetite as big as his heart CursingFijian will join the LG this season after several seasons of quality output
- The shoop guy with all the skills Grav will also continue in the LG while amusing the wider SFA with his efforts
- The resident Stats Man and the host of the music festivities on Friday nights Kilroy will continue in the LG
- Former captain, club videographer and spiritual leader KohPhi will also remain in the LG
