every april for the rest of my life I will be thinking of Capril

I read an article in the Green Guide re the timeslot change - they said it's to have a 4 hour block of talk-based radio to satisfy the people that listen for the music (why you'd let someone else decide what music you listen to is beyond me - thank God Tony hates playing MMM's crap music).

Don't know about their figures in Melbourne , but up here i reckon GET THIS would be almost singlehandedly keeping MMM in the game.

I like get this but Hamish and Andy the funniest radio show on the air!!

Get This absolutely smash Hamish and Andy. Comparing them is an insult to Tony, Ed and Richard.

'Get This' have so many injokes it's hard for a new listener to get what they're on about (but possibly makes it all the more hilarious to regular listeners):

For example, 'Donkey courtroom'... enough said.

Also, the 'Bob Dylan parody' where Richard (I think) sings a number of Dylan songs replacing the lyrics with references to things like...

"a man with a box of killer bees"

...would also have made little sense to the new listener.

I liked it though!

Such a great show, only thing i listen to on the radio. The Podcasts are so good, now they are on in the arvo, i have uni on at the same time so i can't hear it half the time so i download them at work and listen to them on train on the way home at night. And yes, i have chuckled a few times and got a few strange looks.. but it's worth it!

Whether it is or not, and it probably is, just, Get This is still bloody good. I like mentioned above, prefer this to Hamish and Andy, but its good now, to have Triple M on 2-4, then Fox 4-6.

Nooooooo!!!! i love this show, why would they be stupid to can it? I thought it was doing well in the ratings?

I certainly hope that comes back on another station, such a waste if they don't.

You'd certainly think there'll be stations considering taken the show across, but whether anyone commits to them is another thing.

Like I said on air today on talkback mountain.

(I was the one that said they should become NZ cops), Nikki Hamilton wouldn't let my first suggestion for their new job go on air, which was for them to become comedy writers for Wil and Lehmo, she did laugh though, but said they'd get in a lot of trouble if that went on air.
