Well here we all are again.
Because the MF Spring Thread was such a success,lets all discuss the wonder mares chances of clean sweeping the Sprint treble & then dominating the world.

Who would have thought that she would still be an open Gp 1 maiden?
Did the greed of her owners ruin her Spring campaign or was it more the fact that they didnt seem to know whether she was a 1600m or 3200m horse?
Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing that "flat spot"
Will they ever actually retire her or havent they worked out that she's not beating up 3yo's anymore?

All valid questions that need answers but until then,what price this week against Gold Edition,Magnus & The Cat?

It's a shame that haradadud fled with his tail between his legs, because that was one horse you could just about count on MF always beating.

She wont win this week, no chance over that distance, but i don't reckon we've seen the last of MF by a long way.

It will be interesting to see exactly where she heads... I can't see her getting near Goldie this week... She might be competitive in the Newmarket but still don't think she can win.

If she avoids Maldivian there on after she might be able to win a race...

She is no hope in the Australia Stakes with anyone on board. Would need a 10kg weight pull to be a chance.

Wow, a champion filly steps into open grade and doesn't dominate as the mugs expected. Who could've seen that one coming....... imho, she's at her best at the mile, the Lightning was a glorified barrier trial for her, surely connections never expected her to have the necessary speed to take it out.
One thing is for certain, Williams will be shattered he got the boot. I wouldn't be surprised if he turned his hand to beastiality when it came to Finny

Nah,champion 3yo filly....massive difference
This ran fave in the Cox Plate but failed because she was "too dour"
Set for the Cup but cant keep up at 2000 so what to do?
Set her for the early sprints in Feb........good thinking!!!

As for "expected to dominate",even Hayes seems to have dropped off a bit.
S Arnold obviously isnt David's choice,has the grand total of 2 winners for the camp.

Wasn't Hayes the one who at one stage compared her to BLU, to name but one? Haaaahaha

Arnold was definitely Messara's choice. I think I read something about it somewhere. Mind you, I could be talking shit, but it all points towards owner pulling the strings here.

Ah, that's right, Dulcify, I was being conservative. Dulcify > BLU lol

It was a weak Slipper field (Goldie aside?), what about the run Finny had though, talk about being gifted a G1. But she still proved herself to be arguably the best of her age for 2 seasons straight. Impressive record to say the least. She's still a champion, just not the best we've seen in recent years. And it's not as if she hasn't been more than competitive in Open company... just been overrated for a long time... good to see everyone catching on.

Match Finny up with Redoutes... wait, that's her dad! Everyone seems to be talking up Exceed And Excel... if she doesn't do anything this prep, do they simple just shoot her off to the breeding barn? Seems rather pointless to keep running her whilst she's making up the numbers. Then again, when she leaves, we'll be complaining about the massive blow it has on our already 'weak' WFA ranks.

If its one thing I have learnt from punting it's never to back agains Apache Cat at 1200m, he is nigh on impossible to beat.

I was watching the cat and stanzout, which annoys me coz i always miss where everything else comes until a replay.
