I don't buy the post GF slump talk what so ever. Can't convince me that players have some sort of emotional scarring that they constantly remember once the ball is bounced in round 1. Once they have the ball in their hands they'll be playing on pure instinct, can't tell me at that moment they're going to be revising the GF in their heads.

This talk has only been thrown about because the squads on the receiving end of the last few GF thrashings were on their last legs. The complete and utter opposite to where we're at.

The only things that will stop us finishing top 4 and making another tilt this season will be one or either of - Bad luck, young players not improving, or stale execution of the game plan.

Its confidence a human trait whenever you make a mistake at your workplace your confidence gets battered especially at your next presentation to the board.

Same thing in football to get decimated like that its bound to effect the players till they get their confidence back.
