McLeod came second in their best and fairest last year didn't he? Very vital cog to their side. Agree with Leith, Whinray and maybe Dalgleish. Naish in the right age bracket to improve and learn from Newbold and Franklin has played over 250 games. You need him on the park and fit, when he isn't getting a fresh haircut that is.
after watching the game id be happy for dalgleish to be a impact player in any side off the bench going forward good leed strong grab and deadeye shot mcleod is a solid o and k ruckman strong tough and doesnt mind getting his hands dirty franklin well maybe crickets his go hahah

Jaimon McGeehan was cleared back to play good Friday, kicked 2 goals and had a couple of assists late in the game. Always plays well against greta on good Friday!
Coincidentally we had Matt Vernon also cleared to play Good Friday morning only for him to pull a calf muscle in the warm up. Not for a moment am I suggesting that influenced the result but you'd have to admit it wasn't a good start for the young man!

I wouldn't say cricket is much of his go either

All jokes about navyblueman aside you have to tip your hat to the way Greta have bounced back this season. Seem to have recruited well and put up some solid performances before the big win against north wang, it's much better for the league having more competitive matches every week. North Wang still look a fair way off but also look better than last year and are at least going in the right direction.

Greta have beaten whorouly lost to mohyu and smashed a depleted north wang hardly "solid" performances and far to early to tip your hat too

The Senior Coach has brought a harder edge to the playing group. I haven't seen a Greta team throw themselves into contests like this for a long time. A bit more poise against Moyhu & they'd be 3 & 0. With Bonnie Doon & Goorambat at home then All Blacks away, then next three weeks will provide a clearer picture of where we're at though. They won't be blown away or fade away in the second half like previous years.
I can guarantee you they'll be ultra competitive in each of these games. Time will tell though.

It's great to see G/bat & Blacks winning early games isn't it? I think they will push the top sides this year. My tip for tomorrow - Tigers will win this game by 15 goals!

I must have missed the jokes about me?

Tigers in a low scoring one today. The sandpit at Milawa won't be conducive to a high scoring game so I'm tipping the tigers by 17

All blacks to beat the Valley by 23
Glenrowan to beat GBat by 39
Greta over BDoon
Milawa over Moyhu by 26
Tarra over Nth Wang by 150 (15 for Hoggan).
Bright over Whorouly by 5

I think the Greta v Bonni Doon and Whorouly v Bright games should tell us a bit more about all 4 teams. If Bright don't get over Whorouly I think they are in for a long year.
GBats would want to be challenging Glenrowan this week if they think they are any chance of knocking them off come finals.

All blacks by 12points over the valley
Big test for the blacks haven't really played anyone yet the valley should test them.

The bats by 19points over Glenrowan
The bats will simply be to fast for the tigers who I think may be underdone and not settled yet if there's anytime for the bats to get them it's now especially the tigers coming off a 4day slog in the wet!

Greta by 24points over the doon
Greta wanna play finals they need to win these games!

Moyhu by 8points over Milawa
I'm tipping moyhu in another close one, the 4day turn around will hurt the demons!

Tarra by 110points over Nth wang
I'm seeing a one sided affair but tipping tarra to kick 20plus points witch will lower the margin

Bright by 21points over the lions
Buckley to fill he's pockets!
