Moyhu had the chance to put us away early but the swirling wind ( or our defensive pressure ) made it hard to score goals. 17 scoring shots to 5 in the first 1/4.

Moyhu seriously lack a true ruckman ( no disrespect to the guy who played there, tried his arse off all day).A very good running side who used the ball very well and didn't waste their possies, where as ours left a bit to be desired early.. McGeehan, waites x 2, M wilson and 12 goals were ok all day.Will def be there in sept.

from our point of view, pretty even spread, good to see Robbo with a good work rate and make his presence felt. Other than that the Haebich bros were great as was the entire back 6. It's very late, I'm very tired, so go Blackers.
 
Great game at G Bat yesterday, vey entertaining. Both sides look like they have improved and will be more competitive than they were last year. Still a bit to go to be a threat to the finals but the improvement from both sides is promising. G Bat brave yesterday considering only had 1 on the bench from 10 mins in the first quarter. Welshy was the difference, good game from the big man. Good luck to Tatong for the rest of the year.
 
checking the scores online, all the senior results are in, was there a forfit for the swanny vs Greta in the reserves and a forfit in the Glenrowan vs Doon 3rds?

Not in the Greta game - we won pretty easily in the end

Heard there was a couple of injuries out of Saturdays games. Aumann from Tarra with a knee, 6 weeks BK ????. And chris Dunne from Doon, JAM ???.

Yeah we got smashed with injuries Slim. Most of the boys will be assessed today so we will get a clearer picture of whats going on. Dunne came off in the second quarter but thinks he will be O.K. We had 6 players unable to play by the end of the game so a few might get rested this week against Tatong and then also get the bye to recover. I'm not totally in the loop but from what I know I think only one of the injuries will be long term. We will still have a very strong side against Tatong and should come back after the bye (easter) at almost full strength.

Unsure about Timmy at this stage slim. It looked bad when he got stretchered off, but he was walking around not long after. No point rushing him back this early on in the season so I'd say he will miss at least a handful of matches.
 
Hey Slim, I heard a whisper on the weekend that your captian refused to shake any Milawa players hands after the win in round one, instead he walked off bragging very loudly and shouting that things would be different this year. Any truth in this, or just jealously?
 
We had a lucky escape on the weekend. The wind was howling all day and whoever was kicking with the wind was doing all the scoring. Credit to the bats though they have also shown great deal of improvement. We've got a big ask this week against doon but rumours are circulating that many of the locals are not happy with the imports at serenity stadium. If this is the case it may give us the edge we need.

Got no idea Pliz, I didn't hear anything but I think he would be better than that though.....Maybe that's why no one spoke to us in the rooms afterwards...again..... .....Must admit we've been on the end of a fair few pizzlings from Milawa and as such have copped a fair few sprays as well so it wouldn't surprise me if someone was to have taken the opportunity to get some mileage out of it..

Highly doubt it pliz!! Wonder what akermanis is going to think about playing on the worst ground in the league hope he don't get to attached to playing in the sand pit!!:D:D:D

As I said fellas it was just something I heard, had a feeling that it could have been a case of sour grapes. Surely the Milawa ground isn't that bad?????
